Racism in Model Chatrooms

I was wondering how everyone handled racism. I see that The_Brown_Fox experiences it a lot and I find it appalling, but from what she says it seems like she handles it very well.

When someone comes into my room and starts throwing around racism, I promptly tell them that I do not tolerate it and that it is extremely offensive. You must understand as a model that we have people from all over the world coming into our rooms and must respect them as people because no one is better than someone else just because they have a different skin color.

Most of my regulars tend to be white (I have seen their pictures and talk to them often) and with the exception of maybe 5 people they are all from the US, but that doesn't mean I will allow people to make racist comments or jokes.

People that come into my room are potential tippers and I don't know them, so when I see racism I like to tell them I won't tolerate it, not just because they will run people off, but it looks like I am racist if I don't step in and if I let them run the room throwing around racial slurs it looks bad on me.

I have noticed on many different occasions, models being racist, saying things like "dirty mexicans" (which seems to be popular with one model I was watching), upon hearing it I promptly left.

So going back to my main question:

If you are a model, how do you handle racism whether it is directed at you or just people in general?

And if you are a member, what do you do if you see a member or model being racist?

This is one thing I had to warn a long time regular about & ending up having to ban him. Like you, I warn & if it doesn't stop/some how they don't understand why it's offensive, I ban whether they're new to the room or not.

The weirdest incident I've had with it is having someone come into the room, ask if I like black guys/black dick to which of course I answer I like all colors of the cock rainbow *insert awesome unicorn shitting rainbows emote here* and they start spewing all sorts of hateful things. People are just idiots sometimes.

I basically say you have the right to stfu if you continue not to stfu you will be banned anything you say will be used against you in my room and on the forums as a way to laugh how sad you truly are.

I have zero tolerance. I don't warn, I just ban if I get that vibe. I have no time for racists, I don't care who it is, biggest tipper, sweetest guy. People (on MFC and IRL) make derogatory comments about the part of England I come from, and how it is full of people from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and the Caribbean, and sometimes tell me that must be why I moved away from England. There is a lot of racism, fear and ignorance from where I come from, which is part of the reason I left... makes me feel sad that people are this stupid.

I've never seen much in the way of racism from models, with the exception of Romanian girls about gypsies, which for some reason I find amusing because some of them get really irrational about it.

I have a zero tolerance policy for things like this on and off cam. I don't issue any warnings; I just ban. If you're that much of a ding-a-ling that you feel you need to spew crud like that then I don't need/want you in my life in any way, shape or form.

Most of the time its directed right at me and I try to let it roll off my back, since most the time it is a troll poppin in my room to drop a "eww dirty mexican" comment and leave. It pisses me off to no end since they were ballsy enough to say it, but not hang around for me to properly flip you the bird and properly ban you. haha.
I do not want to spread the negative bad vibe with touchy subjects. I think its a reflection of who you are if you knowingly allow it to happen and not interject. Ban the hate on with the Boners!!

I am not sure which model this was, and don't think want to know. I have been in a popular model's room and to hear her talk so much trash about certain types of people made me so angry, I used to visit her room a lot, but seeing that side of her makes her so FUGLY to me now. I refuse to go back to her room. What made it extra awful was she was laughing at all the jokes her room was making and kept the subject going for quite some time.

When I was growing up my father was REALLY racist, I hated it and never understood, so it kind of strikes a nerve with me now. It doesn't take much to get me really worked up and upset about it, so I just ban and move on so I don't get pissed and ranty on cam.

Here's what I wonder...unless there's an assumption of racism already at play, then why does the penis colour need to even be specified? I don't see white guys going round asking white girls if they like white dick, or black guys asking black girls if they like black dick.

I have occasionally seen white guys ask if black models like white dick and it makes me :? - but is this inherently more racist than black guy asking a white chick? Nope, but it kinda feels like it is...

I'm an instant ban and apologize to the room kinda gal. I don't want to exchange with the member but do want to let everyone else know I'm sorry they had to read that and that I've taken care of it.

I don't think they get a warning, but I assume after they type for a while and none of their text shows up once they hit enter that they either get the hint, or think their MFC is broken. :lol:

If it's a member, all I can do is hope that the model bans them. As with anything else in life, I'd like to be able to go about my business without being subjected to the idiotic bile of some racist little twonk. To make myself feel a little bit better about our society after the fact, I might also fantasize about kicking the dumbass' face off in a cathatrtic orgy of boot and... face.

If the model is not willing to ban that person, I will let the model know that I am no longer willing to join her room.

Now, going into a black model's room and shouting NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER is not cool at all. People are people, and should be treated with respect (except the above mentioned three nationalities). But occasional racial humor is pretty funny. I think people just need to relax sometimes.

Frankie's approach seems to be the most reasonable. If you don't agree with the level of racism someone has, ask them to cut it out, and if they don't, ban them. But try not to be overly PC.

I don't mind little jokes about race. They can be funny. I am part Asian and I always make the joke that i don't drive because I am Asian and a woman. Trying to keep the roads safe.

As far as racism goes, if it's racist jokes, depends on the level. If it's about killing someone due to their race, that's a no. But if it's a joke about a racial stereotype, I laugh. I can't help it. Then again, I also encourage jokes against nerds/geeks, which I obviously am, so I will laugh at anyone, including myself.

Now, racism that isn't a joke... again depends on the level. Light, I'll ask not to, then ban if it continues. Heavy (involving hurting or killing), and I'll just ban without warning.

I've learned a few things about racial and regional tensions on MFC lol.

For instance, I know that Romanians and Hungarians dislike each other - the Romanians think the Hungarians (to the north) have been stealing land for centuries and the Hungarians just think the Romanians are peasants :lol:

Oh and within Romania there's a region called Moldavia which used to be a seperate country but now part of it is in Romania. The Moldavians say the Romanians (Transylvanians) invaded them and they should be given independence, and the Romanians say the Moldavians are sneaky thieves. :lol:

Unsurprisingly the vast majority of racism I see comes from the Americans themselves... and obviously from the males.
At MFC a lot of "mild" racism is masqueraded as humour. The thing is, most of it isn't funny. It is just being racist... belittling and ridiculing those in less fortunate circumstances, countries or other, and then laughing as if it suddenly makes it okay.

Comedians have shown it is possible to make jokes about racial stereotyping in a way that doesn't offend. Sadly most who recreate the jokes lack any actual comedic skill or observational wit to achieve this. They're just revealing their bigotry and making a joke of themselves instead.

Why do the guys take part in it? Probably because they feel inferior to others within their own society, and so try to project their superiority over others they deem below themselves for whatever criteria. Add in a few rofl emotes, and they think they're making a good joke.

Either way, end result, you're pathetic... and racist :roll:

My workspace is extremely multicultural so I've become very tolerant of all races and cultural backgrounds. I work in a pharmacy and three of the pharmacists I work for are 1st generation immigrants. One's from Hong Kong, another's from Uganda (small country in east Africa), and a third is from India.

Needless to say if a model is spewing racist bullshit I click Hide Model and move on. Members get added to my personal ignore list so if I see them in the Lounge or any model's room I don't have to hear their bigotry.

Kneegrow was posted about in here, I had seen his name and I was looking at it for a while and then it dawned on me what it actually said. He wasn't offensive in my room and didn't really say anything, so I made fun of his name for a minute and moved on. He left shortly after. Now, when someone has a name with racist words in them (usually the basics) I ban them right away.

I've never had an experience like that, but I would probably get very upset.
Although I'm not comfortable when a message PM's me asking me if "I like black c**k" or if I have ever had one. I find that offensive and ignore or ignore and ban.
