Question with c2c

Hello, I am a regular user of chaturbate and I don't intend to broadcast. If I do c2c with a broadcaster on the site, do I have to be age verified? I can't seem to find this info on the site. The model told me that I don't need to but they need to because they earn tokens.

Anyone can confirm this?

Things may have changed because I just got banned for doing c2c

I thought so too but they banned me and said something like zero tolerance towards underage !? and i'm clearly not. Now they asked me to upload my photo ID for age verification. This is so **** up because i like c2c (have only done it 2 days) but I don't wanna upload my ID. I don't have the intention to broadcast and earn tokens. I feel like they are deceiving users.

CB has started using AI for age verification, so I suspect the AI triggered it. I recently visited a state that required age verification to even view the site, but all I had to do was take a selfie and the AI was able to determine that I'm an old fart. If CB required age verification for C2C you would have been required to do that before starting a C2C, not be banned during. So I suspect someone/something decided you looked too young mid-show.

There are currently 8,640 broadcasters on public pages as of this moment. Tell me how many staff members CB should have on hand in order to keep eyes on all the rooms/c2c, private messages, private shows, password shows, and content moderation at any given time? Because in order to monitor that amount of activity you would need at least 1,000 employees on site or remote working to keep a human eye on all activity at all times.

By the way, human moderation is extremely biased and moderators often develop extreme dislikes or outright hatred for a user on a forum/broadcast site. I was a community manager [paid] for many years and despite even my best efforts there were users I disliked more than other people and would go out of my way to be vague or unhelpful in order to drive their participation down. BUT, It was a community of about 2000 people, not hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people. Who by the way, email support over the most asinine things that don't need to be emailed about.

So yes AI exists to help stay compliant with and hear me again for the 1000 time about this FEDERAL LAWS. These are not suggestions, they are not rules that can be ignored, they have to enforced. Will that apply unilaterally? Of course not. That's impossible. I reported a room today for broadcasting in public, it may take two days to get it looked into a taken care of...I'm fine with that. As long as Chaturbate shows it is doing its level best to moderate the site for forbidden content, the little fish are going to be the ones that get nuked.

Now it may have changed that you do have to ager verify to c2c and you should, in my opinion. You're broadcasting on an adult site. You should be age verified.

You don't upload ID proving you are a legal adult, you can't show yourself on an adult site, it's pretty simple really and there is nothing unfair about it

You might add that at any point of time there is around 300.000 users watching streams, and that during a week 100.000 different broadcasters stream on chaturbate.

The thing is they need to be transparent about it. For example, for broadcaster, they say you need to upload ID to verify your age to earn tokens. That's fine. Do the same for users, if some functions e.g. c2c need age verification. Say it so they know. Don't just say buy tokens then do c2c. Then got banned and say need to do age verification. That's deceptive. Now i'm even scared to buy tokens because I may be banned for whatever reasons.

I am not against the federal law, Artificial Intelligence (after all, it was designed to simplify work), but apparently it still needs the right settings.

In order to prevent personal animosity from taking over, there must be clear rules (and instructions) that are applied in case of disputes. If there is a violation, such as broadcasting on the street, sanctions must be applied, which are clearly spelled out. That is, if I consciously or unconsciously commit this violation, I must open the contract and understand what awaits me, a warning or a complete block.

But I have the impression that Chaturbate does not check many situations, but blindly trusts artificial intelligence.

What the author was talking about is that there were no instructions on age verification before c2c. And in general there is no need for this.
P USERS SHOULD NOT BE LEFT TO GUESS whether this is logical or not. If there is a need to upload documents (age verification) before c2c, say so before starting it!

This clause means that you can get a bad mark from the relevant authorities without any evidence and without the right to challenge it. Also kept silent is a very important point that your assets will be confiscated if someone believes that you have violated, but this will not be true.

We don't know what kind of pressure CB is getting from pay processors and certain recently victorious parts of American society. Looks like I was right when I said that age verification was being rolled out to all participants a few weeks ago. But I was assured that it was only for some states or something like that.

I suspect that in the future, even if you don't open your camera as a model or as a user (c2c), you will be required to pass age verification. But before that happens, so that it works properly, many users will be blocked due to some sections not matching. (In one department the changes were added, the other department did not have time to adjust it correctly).

According to some open sources, the company's employees mostly work remotely, which further complicates communications between them.

So you will have a situation where one department gives you instructions and another department blocks you from following them and tells you that you have broken the rules and blocks your account.

A clear example is the recent story of a girl who added another person's paxum payment method, it turned out to be blocked for chaturbate. She was given instructions to change her payment details, but the links did not work. And she couldn't do it on her own. After which she was blocked and told that she was a malicious violator because she gave access to her account to another person, but in fact she followed the instructions that Chaturbate gave her.
As a result, Chaturbate confiscated her funds and she was ignored.
It seems like these were different people who did not read each other's messages.

I have nothing against Chaturbate writing rules according to the laws, it's normal or I would even say that it should be so!
But I always say that it should be clear so that you don't break the rules. So that general rules are not interpreted differently in each case.
Protecting your business is fine, but it takes a long time to comply with the same laws. Because if the difference between "strict rules" and a "unilateral agreement" that gives the company everything and you get no rights, If Chaturbate decides that you looked at the camera in some way, they will take everything from you, without any explanation. Does this sound like strict rules? I don't think so.

So if there is a need to add verification for everyone, let them do it. I also don't think kids should have access to this, although chaturbate isn't the only site, so...
But when the responsibility of the company is shifted onto your shoulders, like you have to be a psychic and know that the person who came into your room is actually a child, And you must let us know about it so that we can block it.
