unfortunately PSN has been down for 6 days now, but sony have announced that it was a targeted attack and that people's personal information has been compromised.
Sony have a twitter feed @PlayStationEU that covers playstation europe, but others are available
time to go change a couple of passwords.

I really don't blame him and I also agree with him 100% because Sony really should have let everybody know that their personal data was breached instead of waiting this long to tell everybody which is just absolutely ridiculous and very unnecessary.
This is one of those very rare instances where I do want the government stepping in and getting involved which is very unlike me though, but Sony has really fucked up bigtime with this huge debacle and they need to be held accounted for.
I can't believe that they didn't use any type of password security encryption at all for all of those passwords to all of the members that got their data compromised! This is just absolutely inexcusable as well as very unforgivable at the same time.

Email, if not cleared out, contains messages regarding purchases, places you're registered and more. With an email account you can get into nearly anything they use online, as "password reminder" or "password reset" both go to said email address that they have access too...

I'm too chicken to try out online play for GT5. Granted I haven't put THAT much single player time in yet so maybe that's part of the reason.Fenix001 said:

Whenever the Store comes back up they're giving people the choice of two games off a list of five as part of their "welcome back" package.
There's one list for PS3 and one for PSP, so if you're like me and own both you get four games out of the deal, I'm assuming anyways.

I already have inFAMOUS myself. Not sure what I'll decide on ultimately but I think I have ONE decided.

I already have Infamous and Little Big Planet, so no need for me to buy them again! And the Playstation Network Store will be back up by Tuesday, so everyone that owns the PS3 version of Mortal Kombat gets to play online for free until then.
