Private rooms - invite only?

I've been noticing a couple of these "private" models where their rooms and profiles are blocked to most users. Two such I've noticed recently are Blu__ and Panda_rawr. How do you get into these rooms? If they're blocked how do the models get new fans? Do they rely on their old regulars to keep on coming?

When a model enters a private with another member you can not see her or talk to her in free chat. If you want to you can pay to spy on the show she is giving, but still not talk to her. If it is a true private you will not be allowed to spy either. If she is in a group show you may pay to join the group. You will be allowed to see the model and talk to her and the other people in the group.

I'm blocked from both of them, too.
I do know that they aren't "private" rooms though because one of my regulars goes in Blu_'s room every once in a while and she doesn't know him at all and he has never tipped, so there's no reason for him to be on her friends list. In order for something like this to happen she would have to block almost every region, at which point only people on her friends list would be allowed in.
They probably just have your state blocked, honestly.

You can not see the model's room if they have your region blocked. They are just in a private or true private.

I'm pretty sure he's not actually asking about privates/true private.
I think the problem is that he's heard of them but can't get into their rooms or see their profiles at all, which implies that they just have his region blocked. It has nothing to do with privates.

You are right. I just noticed he said their profiles are blocked as well.

This is a really interesting idea... So in theory, if I WANTED to do some sort of public show, but cut down on freeloaders, just block like ALL of the US, [since most of the traffic from my room comes from the US] && then only my friends on my list could come in...?

I have seen a model that goes off site to do the actual show sometimes. I have never liked group shows very much so I have never bothered to find out where she takes them to.

I do this quite frequently, but usually via Skype. It's a pain in the asshole, but I don't have anyone ruining my swag for me when I'm trying to do shit. But I would really prefer a site that offered this...

How do you know they're blocked to most users? Never been in panda_whatever's room but seen her and her weird hat avatar on regularly
