I've been trying to find a post about tips on how to help prevent piracy. Obviously there's no fool proof solution, but I finally had my first situation.
I've been looking into paid services, example cam model protection. I've heard their services are good, but that's a hefty price tag. Is it worth it? What else helps? Should I be raising all my clip prices? What things work?

It's just part of the business unfortunately, but I've heard from other models who use them and they do a great job! On the Models Only session you could find some more tips, or even sign up on Pornhub and copy the links of the pirated content(if is there) and they will pay you for the views! There's always ways to monetize it

If that doesn't help you then holler back at me, I know these two guys in Jersey- Tony "Fishes" and Guido "Bull Balls"- that assist people (for a nominal offering) in remedying certain situations.

The movie industry spends 12.5 billion annually, and you can still watch any movie you want to online.
DMCA can turn into a full time job; and it really doesn't make you any money. It's like whack a mole. It costs your time, time you could be spending enjoying life or making money. Many of these sites don't even respond to DMCA.So the most you can do some times is get the links unlisted in search engines.

Sending DMCA requests has some of the basics for DMCA. Don't use your real name, address, any info that can out you. Better to send the request behind a vpn, so they don't get your IP.

I tried a few different keywords and didn’t find anything useful I guess. Definitely know it’s going to happen because people are scummy but you never know if some people have some good tricks up their sleeve!

I think a watermark on your live stream and videos would be the best deterrent; but its really just an unavoidable occupational hazard for the most part, and there isnt much you can do to stop it unfortunately.

There a lots of models who try to water mark there streams with CSS. That doesn't work. If you do water mark, always good to embed the water mark into the stream itself. This is easy to do if your using a program like OBS to stream.

Watermarking won't stop piracy, but it can help direct traffic back to you. Although the value of tube traffic is debatable.
