The picture galleries from my personal privates always seem to just be three shots from the very beginning of the privates, which isn't that exciting. Then again, I'd usually just watch the video archive of said private, anyway.

I think random screen caps from anonymous privates are good advertising, but that's just me. No caps from true privates ever get into the gallery. From my experience, the gallery is about 90% vanilla anyway. Rarely, if ever, do we see anything the model wouldn't do in public.

I decided to go look at what random pictures I had today. What I found shocked and amazed me!!!! I had never seen any show in public chat that even approached it.

I was going to say "Yuck", but then I remembered some of my privates and decided to just mention wanting to say "yuck".

The pics look out of order cuz in the second one there is a bite out of the cheese in the third one no bite? Did she bite the cheese peel it off and than put a new piece? I have heard about this cheese guy but never encountered him. I hope he comes to my room some day. Seems like an easy enough private. Might make for some embarrassing screenshots for my regs to see though lol

they told me they only let the people who bought the private access the archive.

Maybe that was about videos. I'm talking about photos, and for sure I can see photos from pvt's that are not done by me.

MFC can delete them for her if she wants. I know of a model that did this, but I still have the ones from a private I did with her. It may be a case of once they are taken they are taken, for the individual's personal use. I have it turned off on my end now though.

I'm not sure if you're referring to the videos or the photos, when you say that MFC can delete them for her. If it's the videos, I would take exception to that happening. Though the archive isn't a big reason behind why I do privates (nor do I do many of them anyway), but members are actually paying for the video archive when they buy private time. And, as Amber said, for many people, the archive is one of the reasons people are willing to pay upwards of $6 / min for privates.

It would irk me quite a bit if MFC suddenly revoked access to something for which I had paid them, and I would probably have a pretty good legal claim about it too.

I am talking about the pictures. I have seen the pictures from other peoples privates disappear, but I did not care. I like to look at the random pictures for funny ones every so often.

Your video archive is not guarantied by MFC though.

I've never paid for a private but I wouldn't be cool with MFC taking away a video if I paid for it. I don't think it's a situation where you get a private, and then a video for free - members are paying for that unlimited re-watch of their privates as well. I'm guessing it's not guaranteed by MFC because they don't have/want to pay for a backup system, and it's easier to say "use at your own risk" than "we're accountable!"

As far as photos, meh, I couldn't care less. With the number of members out there capping and recording models like no tomorrow, three candid shots delivered only to paying members of me making a derp face don't mean much to me.

One would have a pretty strong leg to stand on for making a claim at least for a refund of the money spent on the private.

Not to totally hijack the thread (though we seem to be talking about cheese, so perhaps that ship has sailed ), but...

I wonder how well-informed new models are about the video archive feature. Have any models been surprised by realizing that the privates that they performed were archived in perpetuity for the member?

Note: While we try our absolute best to provide our members archived recordings of their private shows and chats on the site, Archives are NOT GUARANTEED and Archives should be considered a BONUS. I learned about the videos from a member who took me private, about a month after I started camming.

I learned about the pics from this forum, I believe it was the first time any of them were posted.

I have no problems with either one, since as was stated, they have been paid for. The only problem I have is with asshats who sit there saying "I'm fapping to your video. You are so sexy." And then don't tip. Even if it was only 10 tokens, a little something in the way of appreciation would be nice, if you're going to bother mentioning it. Otherwise, just don't say anything about it!

The pics make me tempted to start buying tokens, and spend on one model until I get to 1000, then repeat as necessary until I have clips from all the models. But that would take forever. Even at $20 a month, I'd only get around to two models a year.

I just realized models may not know something about the pictures. The area block does not effect pictures, so people in your blocked area could get you randomly showing up.

Kinda reminds me of the guys on Streamate who go into porn star Diamond Jackson's free chat, and never tip her but they'll say "I just watched your porn vids on _____.com. Wow, you can fuck! I came three times watching that!"

I just realized models may not know something about the pictures. The area block does not effect pictures, so people in your blocked area could get you randomly showing up.

Unless the model reads the mfcwiki or is a member herself, probably not. It amazes me how many models get on cam without knowing a lot of essential information.
