:laughing-rolling: Somewhere there exist a hard drive with a video of me getting busy with a near life size stuffed panda in a red teddy. We, ( my GF @ the tim ) had made a vid in which we did not have the camera setup in the right spot and it showed mostly just our feet. So while she was in the bathroom getting ready for our second attempt, I grabbed the kids panda dressed it in one of her teddys and worked out camera angle. It ran about 9 minutes, ( may have gotten a little caught up), and after she saw it, she had to show all our friends. It was rather funny. And yes we took the teddy off the panda and the daughter never was aware her bear had stared in a home porno. :lol:

The paraphrasing I was referencing was in your post where you said, something like,' that might not be exactly what she said' and that might not be exactly what you said, but you did say something of the sort once and I think twice.

The subtitle of this sub forum is be nice, or keep it nice, and I want nothing else.

And to clarify, I am not a big fan of Olivia. I have been in her room less than a handful of times. Partly why I started the thread, I was curious about her.

I am a big fan of performance art in general, though it is not what I come to MFC for. When I have been in Olivia's room what I have seen I think is brilliant in its innovative nature. My praise of her is related to that alone. I simply don't know her, or her overall persona well enough to know if I would ever be a fan. (I tend to think not as far as being someone who might frequent her room.) And if I witnessed what you have said to I most defiantly would not be a fan, would never go in her room again, and might even come here and bare witness to her awfulness. But I have never seen that. That does not mean that I think you are lying, it just means I am not convinced she is that awful.

Again, I see what she has done/is doing, as extraordinarily new and different. From that point of view, I really like what she brings to MFC. It mixes things up a little, and makes it a more interesting place to kick it.

I'd certainly prefer "sing her praise" than spilling immature jealousy. The OP, and he can correct me, is a bit of an Olivia fan, and I don't think he was calling for nasty critiques. There are ways of discussing things purely positively and still be interesting.

Most on here, from what I've read, find Oliviaville to be interesting, charming and a nice alternative room...even if they wouldn't become a "regular." Heck, if a model did nothing but wear a parka while attempting to solve Rubik's Cube for hours on end, and make bank while doing so, I'd give her kudos. lol I may not hang around though.

When I was on MFC, the highest room count I ever had was when I was trying to solve a Rubik's Cube. :lol:

Personally, I think it's damn inspiring when I see someone making a lot of money in unusual ways. I think it shows the real beauty and potential of capitalism. It's the American Dream. How can someone be mad at somebody for figuring out their own way to success? I do think everyone has the potential to make a lot of money doing something they love in their own sense, but most people never figure it out. To those who have; rock on! If it weren't for successful camgirls showing me that I could in fact make my own way in the industry, and not compromise myself by sticking to the safe route, I would have given up a long time ago. I thought your post (responding to mine) was legit, both honest and blissfully free of batshit crazy, which I respect. I don't share your point of view but I'm interested in it, especially given that you're not alone in resenting some of the super-successful models or in feeling disgust/disdain for the members who tip them. In fact, that resentment seems to be what drives a certain kind of member to act up in a model's room, trash her on other sites, hound her off-cam, etc. So it's definitely worth understanding, even if it's arguably misdirected.

But that's probably better for a different thread or a different conversation.

Just a random thought I had today while doing laundry... RE; why so many seem to like it and is a diff atmosphere.....
No matter what our feelings of sex and 'this' what goes on at mfc, sexuality usually brings a heavy air with it.. the back alley or hidden in a dark room feeling. No matter the room or games, the sex aspect is still there and so the associated weight of the air. In Livs room, I don't see the same thing. It feels a lot 'lighter air' if you will, in there. No idea why... I'd guess because its all much more non sexual in presentation and coupled with the performance art, if there is any skin, its a different genre. That lightness may be part of the draw. Perhaps akin to the feeling [males at least] of having to get all dressed up to go out to some formal dinner [ugh] or simply going out to Dennys in shorts and flipflops... ones heavy, ones easy and, dare I say, comfortable.....

All three of those girls have been naked at one time or another or at least partially naked. It seems like when a model is getting naked in a tasteful way and/or isn't doing full on masturbation shows, she earns the NN title? In my brain if she is taking off her clothes on her webcam, she's a nude model.

I most definitely see your point. I just read SoTx post as saying there might be a certain draw to Olivia's room that consists of members who have a problem with letting themselves admit their on a Porn sight. I may have taken away the wrong impression, though I do think there are a Lot of users at MFC who for whatever reasons, feel some guilt about being there, and if there is a room like Olivia's, well maybe they frequent it because they don't feel asmuch shame. Though we may never know because those ppl would never come here, or at least not as posters.

Can't comment on the working part, but while I was there, there were no nukes.

But there was a constant, and I mean constant, stream of one token tips. Some higher amounts interspersed.

If anyone is offended by one token tips, they should spend a little time in Olivia's room.

Best example I've seen for not setting a minimun tip amount.

I thank SoTxBob for his attempt to cut through the mystique of Olivia's room...even if it wasn't successful, it, I believe, was an honest attempt. I too see what Amber is saying...the idea of performance art not being all that comfortable.

So, maybe performance art isn't the right phrase, because, even though it may not be my bag, I detect in her room a very relaxed, warm atmosphere among her fans. Rarely do I see anger among them, and that's a plus in itself. Even when a troll comes in and starts whining, "why no boobs?" or whatever, they, in there way, attempt to politely explain. Truth is, I don't think her regulars can explain the phenomenon.

Also, I've notice a lot of folks say she doen't interact with her room. I kind of disagree; I've been in there enough to notice that she keeps up with the chatter and is constantly acknowledging each comment, although it's via typing rather than orally. Her voice is definitely unique, and just a possible wild guess is she may have felt bad about comments guys have made about it and decided to limit it to her Radio Show.

All speculation to continue the discussion, what do I know? Nothing.
