I know it's not what happened there, but there is some weird bug that puts other peoples pictures in peoples galleries. When I had over 2000 quite a few of mine ended up being random woman and men, even though I didn't upload them, and in the model admin bit, they thumbnails were still me, so it was really hard to find the pictures to delete them.
