Hi everyone,

I have recently found this new greasemonkey script for firefox:

It enables MFC with frequent refreshes of the cam previews, enabling user to see what the model is doing in realtime without opening chat room.
I though it was a nice discover for a first post in this cool forum.

Thanks for the script, it works perfectly. I've replied to my previous Topic Posting in the discussions section of the script hoping that you can update it yet again to support Google Chrome Browsers.

Btw Jupiter551, the script is legit as I've been using since its release until it got broken probably by an update by MFC but has been fixed 4th October 2011.

(This is coming from a fellow Australian, so yeah, it works and is legit. I even checked out the source code to see if it was safe myself, before I installed it.)

well i checked the code behind the link - it looked okay in my eyes. but i haven't tried it sofar (no reason - the page updates more often than i wish lately).

But still -why do 2 people noone knows suddenly promote a script here - one claiming he "found" it but is listed as author on that website. Therefore i am not willing to test the script. Even more for a function i don't need.

I think you misunderstand what this script's function IS, or WAS, (as it no longer works for me for some reason, possibly because of me updating my Firefox to a nightly beta version) but its function is to put the actual realtime cam preview of every model on top of, or instead of the models profile picture, so that you can actually see all of the models cameras all at once on the model selection page without actually clicking on their room or opening their menu and the rate at which the realtime preview pic refreshes can be chosen.

I hope I haven't caused any offense in writing this post but have just cleared up a few misunderstandings if any in the first place.

Amber...I think he means that the previews don't really refresh that reliably, unless you open the menu, but it's still not something I personally find a big deal.

And yeah maybe it is legit...I still don't install random scripts from random people who just signed up :twocents-02cents:

Previews only load when you load the page (homepage, or the 'most popular rooms' thing here.
Something to swap out the 100 pix versions for the 320 might be nice too.

Hello everyone,

Sorry for all the offline period, never though there would be so many people doubting of my previous post.

BTW, I have made very significant improvements to my MFC script.
At least if you do not login at myfreecams you have nothing to lose, so give it a try.

It allows you to:
- open many models in same page
- reorder open models
- browse for potential nice models (left scrolling column)
- chat with other script users
- real-time recommend models to other users (thumbs up icon)
- mute / unmute models
- enable/disable chat (you do not show in the models users list)
- between many other things.

I really do think this script changes MFC to another level although it has been very hard for me to publicize and make it noticeable.

BTW, it works both on Firefox and Chrome, though it requires GreaseMonkey or TamperMonkey respectively in order to make it work.
This is the case because the script access external addresses in order to enable automatic script updating and internal chatting.

Hate to say it (as I usually applaud efforts in creating things), agree with Amber - it's hideous. I would go further and say it utterly ruins the entire point of the site - interaction.
Why the fuck would you want to watch like 6, 8 or 10 models at once like you are showing? The point of the site is interaction. You'd have to mute all those cams - at which point you should call it "perve script" because, much like watching a bank of cctv cameras, you do nothing other than silently observe. Seems weird... and definitely not what people should be going to the site for!

Honestly, it's easier and simpler to visit the "top rooms" if you're just after easy perving. It uses less of your bandwidth, it means you can find where the action is, and then you can watch it in good size, and best yet - listen to what the fuck is going on!

Not doubting the technical ability to create the script - but honestly - wrong place to advertise it simply because people enjoy interacting with the models. Suggest you try porn forums instead tbh.

Ok, I feel I should say something because I said I liked the script.

It is true that the screen captures and the current version of the script make it looks like a "perv script". The chat windows cover the cams, so it does not really encourage chat. And the Menu button doesn't work (I tried Firefox and Chrome), so you can't tip from the script (I am assuming that would be one of the purposes of the little Menu buttons on each cam).

However, I do see non-perv potential. I think it is normal to have two or three chats open. This script would be great if I could have two or three cams and chats in the same screen, and if I could tip from the script.

Of course, the script would also allow to watch 10 muted models at the same time. That doesn't seem cool. However, I don't think the script is going to change behaviors. If someone is going to watch 10 models, it is probably the same guy that never tips and is jumping from room to room.

Well, I don't want to defend the guy. I just don't want to look like an asshole. But maybe I worsened things with this post. Who knows.

However it also allows you to have 1 full sized model on screen and not having the chat taking half of the screen, while still give you the feedback when someone wrote.

BTW, MFC is already an adult site and to some extend perv.
Please don't talk like MFC was a Kinder Garden and I have just provided the tranquilizer gun to all pedophiles around.

Please see the positive side of things, try to be constructive and help make it has it should.
BTW, eventually very useful tools were always seen with regards from the most likely users.

I really do think this script changes MFC to another level although it has been very hard for me to publicize and make it noticeable.

So the way it changes your MFC experience is to disassociate yourself from the room element (i.e. chat and interaction) by removing that entire element from the site. It encourages not engaging in the whole idea of the site (interaction and chat) and just adding to the load issues they'll face by playing large numbers of streams instead. I think that's a fairly accurate assessment of the "main advantage" of the script over the MFC site. If you dislike that assessment, it doesn't make it wrong or that I'm only seeing the negative - it just means I'm looking directly at what the script appears to offer to the normal person. Afraid you will have to point out exactly what the "another level" you claim is. So far it appears to be "watch many cams in one screen". Even the most highly trained individuals would have trouble following more than two streams of sound at once, and 3-4 chat rooms content at once, which therefore lends itself to silent observation.

If you want genuine feedback that you will see as positive - then make it a lounge chat feature instead. When you enter lounge you can then just keep adding more cams to perv on whilst still seeing lounge chat - instead of just one. I am sure there will be many folks in the lounge who'd love that - because then they can carry on talking crap in the lounge while watching many cams at the same time. A quick double click on a visible window would make it the major point of focus, leaving the others as small thumbnail videos playing. Double clicking again would return back to the mozaic of windows. Then you can perv to your hearts content!

Obviously I didn't read any other threads, no. I typed myfreecams script into google and this was the top result. I joined only to voice my opinion and very soon I will be gone but.. I am happy to partake in this one thread. I wouldn't want to partake in others as from a cursory examination, this whole forum seems to exemplify the mentality that I am talking about. Just my opinion but I don't see anything wrong (or pervy) with what you enjoy out of that script. It just doesn't fit this site at all. But some of your earlier comments appear to insult anyone who enjoys doing anything with a model other then simply jacking off to her video feed so I guess I just don't understand the point of posting stuff like that on this forum.
