Did some poking around the ol' Internet Archive/Wayback Machine and I was shocked to find out that MFC was a thing back in 1955. I managed to get a screenshot of one of their archive images showing what the Miss MFC contest looked like back in August 1955!

Adjusted for inflation, $100 in 1955 would roughly equal $890 in 2015.
