A few things that I've noticed that annoyed me a bit:
- (minor nitpick) after a purchase, the cart is not emptied like the majority of other sites
- whenever I go to the checkout phase and have videos from a model that has a Fund option, it offers me the Fund option with a fixed value that I can't easily change.
- still on the topic of funds - whenever I go to contribute to a fund, it wont let me add it to the cart instead making me go through the whole checkout phase directly. Why not let me add it to my cart and then have to type my credit card information only once?

Thanks for the feedback. You are correct about the cart. I am not sure why it doesnt get emptied. Must have been introduced somehow in a recent release. Nobody had mentioned it to us! We will definitely fix it
As for the fundme, there is a specific reason for it. Without going too much in detail, it was restrictions from our payment processors which made us have to introduce the fixed amount on checkout, and the single checkout item on a larger fundme. We will also be changing this in the near future, so stay tuned!

Hmm interesting. There is technically a way. If you open one of your services, a popup appears with a tweet icon. It tweets your link with a anchor to your service that you opened. Just remove the Hashmarked keyword at the end. ex: #membership.

The rating on the vid page is view only. If you want to rate vids that you have purchased, you must go to your "Purchase history" page.

On your transaction history it represents your rating. On the vid page its the global rating!

Just FYI, you (ManyVids) are sending double emails when someone posts on a member's wall. In every case someone has posted on my wall, I get an initial email about the post, and 20 minutes later, another email about the same post.

Their pay period ends in the middle of the month. The next pay period doesn't end until May 16th, the last one was the middle of April.

If you are missing the payment from the middle of April, you might want to contact them. Otherwise you should receive your payment sometime after the 16th of the month.

Ah, maybe... I've only noticed the pay period marker on the chart under Earnings > Daily Sales for the middle of the month, and last month was my first payout.

I am ready to give it up if it wasn't for the fact it's a handy place to have all my vids ready to send via links to people (changing that however once i get all my vids up on project maenad). They have a system whereby the top sellers from the day before are shown at the top, so those girls ALWAYS sell and no one else really gets a look in. i have a big twitter following and always sell on c4s, but manyvids is just sloooooooooooow.

Sorry to hear that you can get in contact with our support, also our publisher pamela@manyvids.com perhaps get some some extra publicity on our social networks.
When we had the system showing random girls on our homepage, we had a lot of girls on ambercuties saying that we should put the girls who are selling on the homepage instead, and not simply anyone. We cannot please anyone unfortunately. We have changed this and now get the opposite opinion from others. We do appreciate the feedback though. Hopefully we can keep improving our layouts to ensure you maximize your sales.
Just an FYI, we dont get always the top sellers on the homepage. We have a good rotation of some MV girls who had a great day show up, like yesterday for example:

As for the question about embedding, unfortunately its something we do not allow currently. We have too many models that are scared about previews being shown to freeloaders, so we want to make sure the videos remain on a site where they have the option to buy it.

A new rating system has been introduced in order to help promote your vids, reward MV girls and MV studios who insure their vids get reviewed and help them climb the MV score ranks.
Our goal is to not only keep the users engaged after they have bought your vids, but also help you produce better quality vids that your fans want to see.
We realized their isnt a way for our MV girls to see the new advanced ranking questions until you read a Full Review. We will work on something this week so you can sample what the user sees.
A user has the option for a quick review, which is an overall 5 star ranking question and mandatory comment, or he can give an advanced review and go through a 10 step questionnaire about the vid. Only the advanced review will give you 10 points to your MV score, calculated over the last 45 days on a daily basis.
The Review page can be shared, and have their own comment threads which will in turn be indexed in google to bring traffic to your page, and potentially increase your exposure and sales.

Am I the only one who thinks the new full rating/reviewing system is awful and plain silly? I love the site itself but what you did with the reviews is just bad.

First of all, the usual member is looking for some sexual satisfaction and I think that 1-5 star rating is the most you can expect from them. I mean, you buy a vid, masturbate to it, click the stars if you have a moment and if you remember to. An elaborate rating of 10 (!) categories and 32 (!!!) sub-categories is overwhelming and unnecessary, in my opinion.

I cannot imagine anybody giving an honest opinion in all the categories. Some of them are just silly.
I'm going to list them all for those who do not have time to look for them.

Now, how are you supposed to rate Dirty talking if the model in the video never says a word? What about the Unexpected Ending? That one made me laugh out loud. I mean yes, nobody expects the model reaches an orgasm in the end of a Shower Cum video, right?
And then Sexual Abilities of the actors. What do you mean by that? Her vagina is capable of taking his penis inside of it. The actors are pretty sexually capable I guess.

I don't mean to offend but in my opinion, this is the worst addition to the site by far. Of course I can just ignore it and let it go. But since full reviews bring additional points, I encouraged members to fill them out and now I regret I did. Making a member go through 32 ratings most of which will not actually help anybody in any way is annoying and disrespectful to their time.

Also, you do realize MOST members will just rank every category 5 stars and move on right? I love reviewing stuff and even I would just click 5 stars and close the thing it's so ridiculous.

I also hate the idea of a full and detailed review system. I think a simple 5 stars is all that is needed. As Evelyn mentioned its madness expecting anyone to spend time reviewing their porn in that much depth. Most porn sites work on either a thumbs up/thumbs down or 5 star rating system which seems to work fine as it is quick and easy to complete (v important for surveys) and provides simple & quick information for other members to make their decision on purchasing the video. Seriously I've worked on big surveys before & surveying modules are part of the masters I'm completing at the moment - the main thing you want to reduce is respondent burden as this will get more people completing the survey & filling it out properly (increase the accuracy of your results).

But assuming some members with way too much time on their hands to fill out the forms actually complete some of these reviews. How helpful are the actual answers?

For example I have 16 videos as part of my bronze video collection - they are clearly advertised as recordings of live shows, which have been edited and are SD quality. They are also priced much lower than any of my other videos in which the filming was planned and are HD quality. If someone was to spend their time actually filling out a full review of one of these videos properly it would likely be marked down on filming quality as its only SD even though the customer would be aware of this before purchasing & would pay less for the video than a HD alternative. So all the review does in this instance is provide a poor rating on a video that appears as advertised. Not much help.

As Evelyn mentioned categories such as dirty talking are completely irrevelent is some instances (assuming it's not a dirty talking video and only some of my videos are). So again can only serve to give a video a poor rating & not really provide much helpful feedback ("your lack of dirty talking in the video on which you never advertised that there would be dirty talking was so bad I give you 1 out of 5 stars for that category!?!")

Other categories just seem ridiculous - "decor relevant to the genre of the video?" What is the relevant decor for an anal video? Or a simple masturbation video? Or a blowjob video?

Another category "were the preformer(s) well directed?" Given that the vast majority of your models are independent cam models who shoot their own content and not part of some bigger porn production how can this question even be answered? Most of us are not "directed" at all. Another 1 out of 5 marks.

Honestly my best selling video and the one I get constant positive feedback on (I get emails about this one and I get people come into my chat room specifically to tell me how much they love it) is SD quality, recording of a live show shot on my webcam, has poor lighting (before I had umbrella lights), not great flow as it was a live show so I had to edit around the in between bits of the show, no direction (all me), no costumes, no accessories, messy hair & makeup (it had been a long cam session) and a minimal amount of dirty talk. By your rating system it would appear to be abysmal but it keeps selling and the positive feedback keeps coming.
