If you weren't using peoples photos (terribly chosen my glob) WITHOUT their permission, you probably wouldn't be getting so much shit.

But yeah, I've been in this biz for years and affiliates are not a major source of traffic. MFC for example has very minimal affiliate programs even available because they just don't need them.
Now, Affiliates have there place, but only when working ethically which the site you are promoting does NOT, thus my issue. Yes their are great affiliate programs out there but yours is not one of them.

@xpimp I'd recommend changing your username. We are sex workers and calling yourself a 'pimp' isn't going to inspire a lot of confidence. The word 'pimp' brings a lot of negative connotations to mind: violence against sex workers and women in general, a man who uses drugs and other means to control sex workers, human trafficking, etc.

I also took a look at your website, Mr. Porn Geek, and it advertises a lot of tube and torrent sites which are often just stolen content from sex workers. I'm not sure why we would want to promote a website that promotes ripping us off - even if you are paying us a (likely pretty small) fee.

I thought this sounded familiar and it turns out you tried this on us before in October and this is what I said to you then (not that you ever bothered to reply).

I personally don't understand what is with all this evilness towards us, the actual webmasters, which are sending traffic towards the sites which you re working on.

Because in general people are a bit turned off by "affiliates" who use shady tactics to promote their affiliate links which make them money without doing much other than knowing how to scheme the Internet. Add in the fact that many screen shots are unflattering, and very likely used without permission of the models that actually DO the work, etc...

Think about it, all this big sites where you actually work at this moment, would not even exist without people like us, from where they buy traffic or pay an affiliate commission.

"MyFreeCams", "Chaturbate", "LiveJasmin" and so on became brands because of people like us who are specialized in generating traffic so that you, as models, have clients.

You have this backwards. YOUR site would not exist without the cam sites. They were created and thrived first. You are leaching off them.

I can't imagine why they would. The site looks like it was coded in the 90s, the photos are crap and the writing is just brain dead. Everything about the site oozes laziness and incompetence.

This website is disgusting and truly another example of what an affiliate website shouldn't be.

First of all, most of the models on this forum are professionals in the industry. We have a great understanding of what affiliate sites are. I think most of us don't mind and see the purpose of affiliates that bring in traffic, using honest tactics. Such practices are what benefit all of us - the cam site, the affiliate and the models.

However, there's a big disconnect between your website and using honest tactics. I believe you need to take a nice, hard look at how you are trying to use affiliate marketing.

1. You are going around taking random screenshots of a model's live broadcast and posting it without her permission.
This is not only something models don't appreciate but it is also, in most cases, a violation of DMCA law. Right away, this shows your ignorance to the industry, on both the model's side of things and the affiliate's side of things.

As others have stated, many of your screen shots seem to have been taken in a lazy way because many of them are not even flattering to the model. Here again, this does no good for the model or you as the affiliate trying to promote said model.

Just so you know, many affiliate programs provide high quality photos and other such banners to use to promote their website or even individual models. It's baffling how you failed to use any of these tools.

2. You are rating models with a scoring system.
I think there's very few models that want to be rated with a scoring system. I sure don't. This is very off putting, no matter what the criteria is for coming up with such a score. Here again, this shows a huge ignorance and disservice to the models you are trying to make money off of by promoting them.

I would think this is true for guys as well. Guys have different tastes. Who are you to be the judge of which girls get a higher score, as some leader in rating cam models for guys to follow? I believe this scoring system from your website needs to be removed entirely.


3. The name. Your name. The icon.
I'm not sure why this type of look was chosen. Do you really want your traffic identifying with some creepy guy icon that is drooling in front of his mobile device? And, then the name, Mr. Porn Geek? There is nothing obvious about you that qualifies you to call yourself a "Geek" or knowledgeable about our industry at all. Then, your name, "Pimp" with a photo of yourself and two models? Although this is the porn industry, there is some level of professionalism that is respected and encouraged in how you present yourself (and your affiliate services).


I really hope this is seen as helpful and not as an attack. I urge you to sit down and do some real thinking about how you can completely change your affiliate website from a shady affiliate that no one here wants to be apart of to an honest affiliate that the models of this forum would love to be apart of.

No Audri, this site is not a one man job if you would look close. The management informed me that amateur photos are more interesting for the potential clients then the best looking ones.

My husband runs three affiliates all on his own. I also have two I manage on my own. It's not hard. So you aren't convincing me. Also who is management?
