If you left your country to travel the world what would you miss?

For example I'm originally from USA and the two main things I miss are meal delivery services and pseudoephedrine when I'm congested. Both factor and fresh n lean are very convenient and help me stay healthy. In most of the countries I visit they don't have a service quite like it. In many of the countries I've visited pseudoephedrine is either illegal or requires a prescription and it's just a much more horrible experience when I catch a cold and don't have access to it.

@cbhours do they have phenylephrine? I love that stuff for my sinuses.

I'm not sure what I would miss. I have only been to Jamaica and I spent 99% of that trip deeply intoxicated because I was 19, single and stuck on an island with 7 couples, one of whom was getting married and that's why we were there.

I get the feeling you have never used pseudoephedrine, phenylephrine is the replacement stuff. Next time you want a decongestant ask the pharmacist for pseudoephedrine time release and they will pull out a 12-24hour duration box of pills that you'll have to show your ID for and sign. It's soooooo much better than phenylephrine.

No doubt cliches, but I would miss my bed, and my kitchen.
I travel for work a lot and I always look forward to getting back home again, to sleep in a comfortable familiar and safe place, and have the ability to cook healthy and fresh meals.
Oh, and of course, all the animals I am custodian of :)

Makes mental note to never be helpful again. Jesus.

Sorry didn't mean to come off like that, it really is a big difference though, I hope it works as good for you as it does for me.
It worked so well I can see how it can become something someone depends on instead of addressing the cause of the issue (like a sinus infection). All I know about pseudoephedrine is that it is bad for people with heart conditions. Well, that, and it's illegal function.

They are cliches for a reason :h:
I would also miss that feeling of being home, also all the seasonal fruits and vegetables - there’s just something about how they taste at home that can’t be matched.
