Okay, so I'm currently on the hunt for a vanilla job, and I am also clipmaking. When it came down to verifying my identity on a couple clip sites, I emailed myself from my vanilla-business email TO my clipmaking email. This should be fine, right? I mean, it's not like potential employers could actually see the *inside* of your email box... (if it matters, they are both gmail)

As long as you haven't connected/given the potential employer anything related to your clip making stuff & there's no connection between your legal name & sex work name (in case of background/Google checks) you should be fine. The only way they'd see it is if you didn't clear it out of your inbox and suddenly they decided to demand access to your personal email to hire you on, which would be insane, but not unheard of in the day where employers regularly check people's Facebook/Twitter to see if they have any moral flaws that the employer would find fault with.

Two of my previous jobs looked into employee's company emails. I say delete that shit out of your inbox asap and get a separate email address. You really should be using different emails for this kind of stuff anyways (1 business contact email, 1 email to receive tributes/GCs/correspond with customers, 1 email you use to sign up/sign into different sites).
