Nicole is my middle name, so I figured I'd be less likely to fuck up and accidentally say my real name. My aunt has always called me "Nic" so it's something I'm used to being called. My original name was NicoleLovez. I got stuck on the last name and wanted it to be "Loves" but that was already taken.

I changed my "last name" when people kept coming in and saying "you're not Mexican, why is that your name?!" It got annoying so I actually chose a few names I liked and posted in models only asking for advice on which one to choose. NicoleRiley got way more votes, so I changed it.

I wish I had picked a different name because I feel like mine is so boring, but oh well.

I was really set on Kyra. I always found the name undervalued, unique-ish and I wanted something short.

I debated a very long time from a business perspective when it came to deciding to go with Fortune as my last name. It could totally come off gold-diggerish, which wasn't my intention. If anyone knows I play League of Legends, it actually stemmed from Miss Fortune. The hot redhead babe character with awesome boobs.

I love my boobs and also love my hair red. I opted to stick with the name anyway. Also, Google liked it so far and I haven't come across too many other Kyra's.

Second was my name as A_Cute_Mew. I loved the name Mew, but Mew was too short for the site to accept, so I went all descriptive...by the way I had never seen a single pokemon episode at the time, and had no idea what a mew was. I soon learned what a mew was. Through this I genuinely got really into pokemon.

Eventually I got sick of people thinking my name was Cute or (not a joke) only "A". I went by the name Godiva, because of my long hair, and tacked on 420 to tell a bit about me...then I stopped smoking weed...well that's awkward lol and changed my name to Ann_Solo eventually Ann_Sulu, since I didn't want to seem as though I only knew things Star Wars related.

I stole my first and last name from two artists. First name is from Austrian artist VALIE EXPORT (her name is always spelled in all caps). But I added the extra l to make it Vallie and dropped the caps. Last name is taken from German artist Joseph Beuys (last name pronounced like 'boys'). That way I could pay tribute to two artists that I've admired for ages while making a play on the term 'valley girl'. So I'm VallieBeuys_. I added the underscore after my name because I actually briefly had a different account on MFC that I deleted, but when I made a new one (with MFC's blessing) the username VallieBeuys was locked for a couple months (they do that so if you change your name someone can't just snatch up your old name, to avoid confusion/impersonation). By the time I could change it I kinda forgot about it. Now I have things all set up to work for VallieBeuys_ so I probably won't change it any time soon since I could confuse people if I just dropped the underscore.

I literally just thought "Jen!" and then that became Gen, and then it made me think of Generation X/Y/whatever and so I added GenXOXO.

I HATE MY FUCKING NAME but it's plastered all over my videos, so Gen I will be forever. It's just so...basic. If I was going to change it now, I'd definitely put more thought into it. I have thought about changing it but whatever, Gen is fine. It's just not good for ~branding purposes.

My screen name: I took it from that reality show from about 10 years ago: The Joe Schmo Show.

I was signing up on a message board a few years back and I wanted that name to evoke "a regular Joe". Unfortunately, thousands of others had the same idea! :mrgreen: I didn't want to be "JoeSchmo987" or "Schmo765", so I kept adding letters until I got a name, lol!

I put the "Faux" in my twitter name because it amused me to see so many twits using "THEREALxxxx". It's funny to see that there are 2 facebook profiles (one is mine, so I can leave forum comments) and 1 linkedin profile (not me) for "Joe Schlmoe". Maybe I should sue those fuckers! :lol:

The brilliant @NicoleRiley helped me pick out MayaRae, because it's close to my real name and I feel like it suits me.
I also get a lot of people calling me giggles, I've had that nickname from my mom since I was 18months old and because I giggle a lot, my friends and family still call me giggles.

I'm a mash up of two of my favorite female Sci-Fi characters and TV shows! If I felt like I could've fit in more of my geeky quirks in one name, I would've, but two seemed like a good idea. Simpler is better! :lol:

I thought for AGES over what my name should be, in conjunction with lots of Google searches to check for availability. One of my initial ideas was "River Pond" (Firefly + Doctor Who) but then I had the idea that with TWO water oriented names, people would expect that I could squirt or something? Obviously I hadn't cammed yet because even with one water related name no one has ever said a WORD. I over planned and over analyzed a LOT when I was getting ready to start out. River would be confusing though because there's a River in BOTH TV shows and with Doctor Who it would be super redundant. I think it also felt "off". I'm glad that I didn't choose it because I don't think I'm really that similar to that character.

Once I hit on "Kaylee Pond" it was like fireworks exploded everywhere! I feel like it suits me quite well and I really do feel like a mash-up of the personalities that the characters have.

"Kaylee" is for "Kaylee (Kaywinnit Lee) Frye", who is the lovable and spunky ship's mechanic on the spaceship Serenity in the amazing show Firefly. She is sweet, optimistic, and very friendly! I've been compared to her by my friends many times, and so it felt like a fitting choice!

"Pond" is for "Amy Pond", who is one of The Doctor's Companions on the absolutely epic show Doctor Who! She is confident, sassy, clever, and has quite a spirit for adventure (both of them do), which I think are traits that I have sometimes!

Anyway, both are excellent, strong female characters in the Sci-Fi genre, which is something I have a great passion for. I feel very lucky that I love my name and feel like it suits me! It's always lots of fun when someone comes in and recognizes one or both of the references! It's cool to give people an idea about what you're like just with your name!

I added cosplay of me as both characters because why not?!

Mine was pretty simple. People have always associated pixies, elves and fairies with me. When I was in college my nickname was actually Fairy. I respond to that! I wanted something that would allow me to be happy and encourage people to be nice to me. Something magical and fun needed to be my theme. I was really happy when MFC allowed me to have the name Fairy instead of Fairy_. Now I am the ultimate Fairy!!!

When I signed up at mfc, I wanted a fresh username, one I hadn't used anywhere else. But I'm horrible at thinking of these things.

At the time, I was watching a LOT of the tv show How I Met Your Mother. The character of Barney (who I'm nothing like) seemed like a good fit for MFC. But I didn't like the name Barney. The swarley episode was one of my favorites. I probably had seen it again around the time I was picking the name.

So I enter swarley into mfc. its taken.

I decide most likely they're abandoned accounts, and I can get away with tagging a number on the end.

Alice because I identify with the Alice of Wonderland on many character traits levels. I have always loved the story of both Wonderland and The Looking Glass.

Lane because I looked at camming as an adventure I was setting out on as if a lane I was turning down in which to follow, my version of a rabbit hole you could say.

I have since realized there are so many Alices on MFC so I sometimes feel lost in the "common name shuffle".

I'm a big fan of Tank Girl and everything she represents. She's badass, a true hero, a heathen in every sense of the word... So out of curiosity I googled her "Real Name" and voila - her real name is Rebecca Buck.

Which, to me, sounded way better than what I started with "Nova Nirvana"

So, I stole my name from Tank Girl and I'm never giving it back.

This will sound terrible, but it is the truth. I picked "Maniac" or various derivatives of that after for the first time I joined a cam site (Maniac_1 on mfc now) in what felt like a manic episode, and the name just stuck. At the time I was thinking Cyclothymia.
I spent enough money and made enough model friends using that name, that it was hard to change.
As it turned out I was wrong (related to PTSD most likely), keeping the name is a good reminder of this alone.

My ACF user name (Ambers Troll), comes because AmberCutie was the only one to label me that...so it was an easy choice when I rejoined after a ban some months later. Was upset by the label at first, but making fun of yourself is healthy so I chose to.
I am never scared to upset others with my opinion. As someone with a big heart, and a wicked mind the troll label wrongly used by others is ok by me, honesty is worth the risk.

My main MFC SN is SirWanksaBit, I had wanted SirWanksaLot, but it was taken. I am happy with Wanks a bit, as it is more accurate these days, and somewhat less brash than wanks a lot. There are some who don't like it so well like Jup who refuses to call me any variation like Sir, or Wanks. The latter being what most regulars and Models call me. (BTW Sir Wanks is the duke of Wankinshire and all the lands of Wankdom.) I sometimes tell ppl asking about the name, that I must look very much like someone in London b/c when visiting there ppl driving by often yelled "Hey Wanker"

My name here and also one of my MFC SN comes from the fact that when I first found camming I was coming off a 5-6 year drug addiction. I had been pretty deep and wanted to see if I still had the ability to write. (something I had done with a little bit of success for a few years previous.) There had never been a good story told about camming, and I was going to see if I could tell it. So CamStory fit. Cam is also a fairly common nik that I am fond of, and some Models like Miss Chaos, and Kori_Love tend to use it regardless of what SN I'm signed in as.

I believe I have 11 premium MFC SN, (tho I only use 6@1K or 10K), and over 120 registered MFC SN's (For about 2 weeks I thought camming was going to take off so fast, that soon every household would have at least 1 MFC account, and I was going to be the name guy. If you need a good name go see Cam he has them all. yea, i relapsed for about 2 weeks :lol: If only I would have had the foresight to do the same with domain names. )

The way I came up with it is kinda a long story though, basically I was in a band in high school, and we all had ridiculous nicknames, Sparky the drummer, Phantom the bassist, Creepy Jesus on lead guitar, and me, MissMaliceMurder(vocals) my real first name starts with M, and my favorite song at the time was Miss Murder by AFI, but I didn't want to be the only one in the group using my real name, so we brainstormed and came up with Malice. It stuck for the longest time, so when I started camming it just made sense to use it, and Rose is my favorite flower.... and my middle name.

When I changed my name to AuroraKnight I originally wanted to use AuroraMonroe, it's Storm's real name from X-Men, but there is a porn star with that name, so one of my best friends suggested Knight, and I fell in love with the name.

I wanted a name that sounded real, but also screamed sex worker. I also wanted a name that told something about me. So I thought; What better name to steal than "Inara"?! (From the show Firefly, which is one of my favorites.)
For my last name I just stole Bettie Page's, because she's someone I admire and growing up I always thought my hourglass figure was something to be ashamed of - until I found Bettie, that is.

I really love my name and I even use it out at bars and such when meeting new people
