Respecting yourself means having dignity. You can disagree with someone, hell you can even hate someone, and still have a respectful conversation.

People don't care what your issues are, people care how you treat them. You can't treat someone bad and then when they have a negative reaction, blame them entirely for their negative reaction. First, you need to practice mindfulness and honestly look at yourself to see if maybe you did something for them to react that way.

Then, if you didn't! You can keep your dignity and respect for yourself and walk away gracefully.

You don't add more fuel to the fire by going back and forth in an argument that goes nowhere.

Well OK, but this starting to become tiresome about copyrights. Nobody would get like this over a TV programme they recorded on a VHS cassette or DVD. I must be breaking copyright laws everyday, if watch them myself for nobody else's consumption. I would have thought it was the same as that really.

Your talking about Fair Use. Fair use doesn't apply to redistributing copyrighted materials.
