Having recorded shows from the site vs being recorded on Skype

What are your thoughts of having your privates being recorded? On MFC, they are available for future viewing and with the right plugin can easily be downloaded. For Skype, there's lots of software to allow the same thing basically. As long as you trust the member won't upload it, is it something you frown upon? Do you assume most people do this anyway?

While I'd prefer it didnt happen (I cam on CB), I just assume shows are going to be recorded. I dont really trust anybody

I had a girl on MFC and took her private quite often, all private shows are recorded on MFC and I can view them again and again.
Then we switched to Skype and I recorded the shows so I can view them again like shows on MFC.
One day we talked about the shows and she asked me if I record the Skype shows as well. I confirmed this, I am too old for silly games and I don't like lying, the girl was at first not too happy, but I told her my point of view that for me little changed I pay for the show and I like to have the option to view them again. Topic was never again raised.

I guess most shows are recorded, to raise this topic is likely only causing unhappiness, so maybe better to ignore it simply....

Yeah, personally I don't see see a difference but had a similar experience to you. Didn't know if that's shared across the board though, hence the topic and maybe an understanding of different view points.

I definitely get where you're coming from, but I think the difference is that if you're saving it on Skype, you can repost it easily. I could be wrong, but I think MFC recordings aren't downloadable (I don't use mfc, but I think that's true). So yah, you can easily download it still, but I think it just feels safer to the model. Not saying you're wrong, just saying I think that's where she was coming from.

You can disable private recordings on your preferences in Chaturbate.

Personally: recordings was the reason I stopped doing private shows altogether. I learned pretty quickly that in order to survive in this industry I must trust no-one when a regular posted a True Private all over the place and then claimed his roomate had hacked into his computer. Now you can promise you are not that kind of guy 1000 times but if you were you would also lie about it. Trusting you wont post the recordings is quite risky. The recording that twat shared will be online forever and it is a burden I have carried for 3 years.

With the amount of privates, groups and skypes I've done over the years... I think I'd loose it if I tried to police and / or worry about who records and posts what and where.

It took me a long time to come to terms to it but the way I see it... if you don't want your vagina plastered all over the internet... then don't spread your legs in front of a webcam... or something like that

As a general rule EVERYTHING you do on the internet if it is posting on a forum or acting in front of a webcam for example is out of your control and possibly there forever. That is the price you pay currently.....

I know it is not much comfort, but you can compare a video clip to a paper picture in a huge landfill site with gigantic amouts of rubbish added each day, so the chances of someone really noticing it are extremly slim and going down each day, different if you have a kind of "cult status" but even that can change very quickly...

Yea, you can get recorded, and it doesn't matter from where. To some models, it hurts to be outted, or used without being paid for your content. I was recorded and someone I knew sent me the link. But it was from someone who I had already told and I'm pretty open about my lifestyle and self employed so it's slim for me to get "outted." I did my research before even signing up. Nothing online is ever really just for those eyes to see.

Some of my model friends look for their recorded shows and take them down. When someone found that show of me I thought about taking it down, but didn't have the energy really to. If I'm going to be a camgirl, that's something that will happen. You have to take the good with the bad no matter what you do. But I'm looking at these other threads so it's good to watermark so you can beat them with your own "free advertising."

And even back in the days when people bought porn DVD's, they're friends bootlegged some of them, they had a group of friends over to look at it when there was only one purchase for the tape. It is what it is.

I said the same thing to model friends. The only time I've found myself was when someone sends it to me. I don't have the energy to look at who did what. But I will eventually try the watermark think when I start a website for more exposure. Maybe.
