Hi everyone, new cam girl (2 months) and I've been interested in getting an interactive toy but had read a lot of threads that said OhMiBody is a scam. So, VERY excited to find this thread. For those of you who have tried these toys, would you recommend Nora or Lush as the best one for Chaturbate? Thanks!

OK so I have been using this toy for about two weeks now and wanted to give my opinion on it. So on my first show I found myself having to explain what it was and how it works. Just told everyone it is an ohmibod type dildo by lovense. I quickly found out that this thing can be temperamental as hell. If you go into a PM it won't register the tip 95% of the time. if you are typing in chat window it wont register most of the time, if you scroll down on accident it loses connection and wont register tips till you reconnect it. there is a learning curve. You can not fake it with this, if you are not connected to the app it will tell the users that the model is not connected....not a problem for me since I never fake a show.
I got a user to do an interactive show and worked on getting him control of the toy. first we tried the app version. however another user kept trying to request a show using the app which kicked out the user I wanted in to have control. so every two seconds this guy got kicked out of our private on the app and lost control....So I tried to PM him the link you can generate on the computer app for him to use. However that did not work due to chaturbate blocking all websites URL's in PM's. So I found out that he needs to email me on my model email then I emailed him back the link to control the toy. This is what I am now doing in my privates with this toy....And yes my customer loved being able to fully control it during our private show.
Now mine actually stopped functioning properly after my second show. I contacted Lovense and they are sending me a new one and a return shipping lable. They were excellent to work with.
So final word? I would buy this again. Yes there are some things you have to learn and do differently, but it works for my style of camming, I don't PM much and rarely type as I have a good mic setup. However these are things I thought others would like to know about this toy before purchasing.

Something else I noticed...
If Nora is being controlled remotely, and the model doesnt cut off the extension, tips will turn it off. Not really a problem, more amusing than anything.

The problem is that models can choose their own levels, so the image needs to be responsive. We're trying to find a solution to this...
The extension should be able to run in the background. We haven't done extensive testing that includes going into PM, though... I'll have the developers check it out.
Again, it should be able to continue working- but maybe there is some type of bug. If you ever have issues like this, please email us after a show. We can look at the data logs and see what is happening behind the scenes!
Can you clarify what you mean by scroll down? Scroll down on the website- like on Chaturbate, to see your profile...?
The extension doesn't rely on having the chat in your view. It can run in the background, so this is really weird.
Also, please clarify what you mean by "it loses connection and wont register tips till you reconnect it". Do you mean the toy is losing connection or is the chrome extension?
Sorry to ask for all this additional information, but our developers cannot test it in a live environment every single day! Any information you give us will help us improve the software much quicker!

If you're in a session, then you should be receiving a notification. It looks like this for the mobile app:
If you click "Decline" the user who is currently in control will keep control. If you do nothing, the current user in control will also keep control.

Thanks for the reply. I noticed that when I scroll down on my web page away from my chat window chrome losses contact with my toy, same when i type in chat or go to PM as soon as I stop doing these things after a few seconds it reconnects without me having to do anything. I will uninstall the software on the compu and do a clean install. could be a random bug on my end.

Hmm... the toy connects to Body Chat, not directly to the Chrome extension (we cannot set it up that way due to limitations...)
What are you using to connect to Body Chat?

We haven't been able to replicate that in the office, but if it continues definitely let me know (if you're experiencing it, I'm sure someone else is, too!). Our developers can add a feature where no requests are completely blocked if you're in a session. Adding this feature should fix this problem for you!

Just want to update everyone about what’s going on behind the scenes. Thanks to all the great feedback we’ve gotten updates have been happening regularly. There have been bumps along the way, but overall the software is getting better and better. We truly appreciate hearing from everyone who's using it. Let us know any issues or suggestions you have!
We just updated the Chrome extension a couple days ago and it’s stable. So, I wanted to let everyone know what’s new:
Full power / off – This is in the app and on the control panel that the customer sees when you give them control (via web). It lets a user easily switch been the highest settings and off, which is a fun way to get teased!
Improved queue – This is a big change. Before, when the toy accidentally disconnects from bluetooth, it would mess up all the tips that haven’t been sent yet. Now, it will start up where it left off. Bluetooth disconnections shouldn’t be frequent, but occasional disconnections are normal for any bluetooth device.
MFC Notification – MFC users now have the ability to send notifications to the chat using a second account. Log in as a non-model and run the chrome extension in that Chrome.
Use Firefox, Safari , Internet Explorer, or another browser to broadcast.
In-extension tips – More tips directly in the extension.
Control URL is shorter – The link to give control to someone is now shorter. This should make it easier for your clients. Still cannot copy/paste it into the chat, though.
Please make sure you are running the latest version of the chrome extension before you start a show =)
Also, we’re already working on another update. In the next update we will:
1. Add more command options - Clear the queue, pause the queue, random level, send a wave, send a pulse
2. Let MFC models broadcast and send notifications via Chrome. Right now you have to run the extension as a guest....
3. Generate pictures for you settings, so that your tippers can easily see your levels. This will cut down on the amount of messages needed to be sent during the chat.
4. Generate a picture for the control link. This will allow you to send the control link details IN the chat on camsites. Now you have email the link to customers.
Our developers continue to work hard for everyone. We see the numbers of models using the extension grow every week! It is very encouraging. We're developing more toys to be used with the Chrome extension and will continue to add features and fix bugs according to the feedback we get.

Doesn't seem to be working right. It will post level 1, then every now and then level 5, but not posting all or often.
Hmm... that's weird.
It's really hard for us to test this feature ourselves so our developers cannot quickly troubleshoot this. I'll see if we get the same experience from others. But, I really appreciate the quick feedback. A couple questions so we can look into it, though:
- Is the "level settings" notification working properly? You can set it to post every 'x' minutes. Does it work?
- Or only the response notification for a tip not working? or both?
- .. and you're using a dummy (2nd) account in Chrome, right?

The level settings is what is not working. It will post up to the first one, then stops, sometimes jumps in and posts the 5 one. This is using a basic account in Chrome.
Haven't tested the response notification for tips yet, as I am currently in the midst of a token crisis.
Posted the first, then jumped straight to the fifth, then quit working all together after a few minutes. It was set to post every 1 minute.
The max/stop button works good though through the take control link.

Developers think it's a time limit imposed by MFC. Thanks for letting us know- we'll be able to test it here and hopefully find a good solution in the next 24 hours

Yes, tested the Auto Reply to tips. Is the same behaviour. Posting once, then after that it is a crapshoot.

Just want to provide a proper update:
1. Set up for MyFreeCams is now different. You don’t need to view your own room as a guest anymore. You can login as a model and do a browser-based broadcast via Chrome. We just updated the guide to reflect this change.
2. MFC notifications are fixed. Before, it wouldn’t let you send notifications so quickly and some of our notifications weren’t being sent to the chat.
3. We’ve added more settings! Customers can now:
send a picture notification every x minutes (you need to set that up) instead of having so much text in the chat area. Hopefully it’s easier for tippers to understand, too!
5. Added the ability to save the control link as a picture. We know there is a limitation put by camsites to not send links in chats. This feature makes it easy to give a user control in a private show through PMs. Just send the picture and the client should copy the URL into his browser.
Lastly, we are aware of a bug during live control. Right now, if a client refreshes the control page, or (sometimes switches tabs), the session will expire. This will be fixed in the next day or two. It doesn't require a new extension update, but a fix on our server. If your clients still have that issue, after a day or two has passed, let me know!
More updates coming soon!! We update based on the bugs you help us find. So, if something is not working properly, please let us know. One of our development team’s top priorities is this extension! Also, if you have any feedback for more features, let us know =)

Nothing against the extension here (I am all for options), but I would suggest this be avoided. I wandered into a room once and tipped for a request, not knowing that the regulars were playing a game where they were tipping to have the model refuse the request. A fun game, unless you are the one who walks away feeling screwed.
Totally get where you're coming from. One thing I should have mentions is that this setting is optional- models don't need to enable it.
Another thing is we put a minimum amount for this to work. We don't think it's fair for a model to put that setting super-low and have someone wipe out an entire wall. We wanted to (somewhat) protect tippers- right now the minimum is 200 tokens... we'll be adjusting the settings as we get more feedback. We hope that no tippers feel screwed and that it's used in the way we've intended (basically to give models the opportunity to make an interactive show more like a game).

If used with discretion, it is a clever option. Played a similar game with tipping one token to turn Nora off. But if I tip for a few level 5's and it gets wiped out by some jackass, I will go play with the ohmibod girls.
(Full disclosure: Just is exactly the kind of jackass who would tip to wipe out another's level 5's)
