Have tokens, don't use them...need the money...HALP :(

Okay okay, I know...odd post! But me finds myself in a bit of a bind. Forum sn is the same as my mfc sn, and I've recently come into some financial hardship and every dollar counts (especially towards my small bills like electricity, etc). Tried discussing this in the Lounge only to be trolled by the typical 'lulz transfer ur tokens 2 me bro ill take em.'

inb4 duh.

I currently have accumulated 525 tokens in my mfc account, of which I have not used and really need the money instead to help sustain myself (masturbation has taken a backseat to; *gasp*, LIFE?). Thus, I would like to sell my tokens in exchange for paypal funds.

I know the going rate through mfc directly is 550 tokens for 49.99, but I'd be willing to transfer all 525 of my remaining tokens at a loss for $40.00 Paypal gifted.

Has anyone done this/had to do this before? I only ask because I know that it's difficult doing this without both parties feeling on edge about being slighted (you transfer first...no YOU transfer first, etc). But I'd be willing to send first if the member is a long-time trustworthy/established person on this forum. Screencaps, all that.

Heck, I'd even be willing to go in Amber's room (I've tipped her before, for the unusual socks with heels request ) and let her see my token count and do the transfer while in her room.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Again, I'm in a bind, and would rather see someone get themselves a good deal on tokens and spend them on a gorgeous mfc model while I can hope to avoid apartment eviction and get my priorities straight. Subsequently, I'll be closing my account and taking a break from MFC for awhile, as my spending habits did get a bit out of hand...to say the least. Shame on me

Well, I don't see how one could get screwed if he transferred first. I also don't see that not having a MFC profile means anything. The majority of MFC members don't have profiles set up. And I also don't see why picking on the guys spelling, is doing anything but being mean. If the guy is what he says he is, - someone in need, who is desperate to save his place and pay his bills, i feel for him. I think he has been brave enough to come here after being laughed at in the lounge, and we are acting just like the lounge Asshats. There may be no one here willing to do what he would like, but I don't think we should go out of our way to make the guy feel worse than he does. :twocents-02cents:

I suppose by that being my first post I set myself up for sure criticism. And rightly so.

However, wasn't aware people on an internet forum (most especially an MFC forum) still are unaware of the common Caturday slang references. Apologize if you were expecting a long-winded dissertation from a poet laureate in the off-topic section.

I don't see what's fishy about this. I already said I'm willing to transfer my tokens first, so long as the member is established and trustworthy. Then once they receive their tokens safely, they will send me the $40 paypal gifted in return.

Swirl: appreciate the suggestion, but I'm a little skeptical...would they issue a refund for tokens? Have you personally done this or know of someone who has? I thought that contradicts the TOS. I purchased 550 tokens on my last refill, and only spent 25 of it, so I'm not sure how they would translate 525 tokens into a refund. However, if you're sure of this, I will go that route instead, as it would save the headache of a trade. Thanks again

edit: Camstory, thank you! I'm glad someone finally views this with sensibility. And yes, you are correct...something more along the lines of $37.00 would be probably more sensible. It all depends on how many tokens one purchases. Some people only refill $20.00 at a time, in which the rate is .10 per token, so 525 would essentially be around ~50 or so.

Whilst I kind of agree there is a world of difference by say, me or you coming on here and asking, well known members of the forum with a long posting history and him coming on here and his first post is that!

Honestly, there is no other place on the internet even remotely relevant for me to post my inquiry on than this one. I mean, I could technically open up a Wanted ad on Craigslist asking the same thing, but how silly would that be.

i somehow doubt mfc will give you your money back... that just seems like it would be out of character for them. if you really need 40 bucks badly for living purposes get off the internets... go donate plasma or pawn something you dont need, babysit someones kid.. 40 isnt too hard to get ahold of somehow.

Well it says in billing support they will refund your credit card for token purchases but not partial refunds. Anyway, just thought it was worth a try. I know there are clowns on MFC who buy huge token packages and walk around with those tokens exposed for the models to see that they never plan on spending or tipping just so the models will give them free attention. I just assumed eventually they asked for a refund.

Will love to 'make it rain' on some of ya'll models again in the not-too-distant future, but needed to take a break and exercise some self-control with the mfc wallet spending. Hopefully some time away will let me re-evaluate my priorities.

I've read your post last night and was tempted to just send you the money, sucks that Paypal doesn't have a confidential or anonymous clause and personal info gets transmitted.

Just a quick update: emailed mfc support about an hour ago requesting the refund...and low and behold, got an email not 30 minutes later from netbilling stating the refund had been initiated back to my card!
