You're in a store (grocery, department, etc.) shopping and you see someone in the same store carrying a firearm (handgun or rifle, shotgun, assault weapon). What do you do?

Highly dependent on the situation. A holstered handgun doesn't really bother me.

If you are talking about open carry nuts toting rifles just to make a statement, ideally I would throw a few firecrackers out to see whether they drop their guns and bolt, or whether they go to shooting the place up. If it happens to be a day I don't have any firecrackers on me, probly just give them a complete eat shit look.

See if it was here in England it would be pretty clear cut, get out, get others out and phone the police

See a gun. Call the police.

Its where I am completely against any kind of open (or concealed for that matter) carry gun laws as there is just too much open to interpretation and thats when innocent people get shot, accidentally or otherwise

I'm in agreement with Justjoinedtopost and Bocefish, I can't vote til the scenario is clarified. There's a huge difference between a holstered pistol and an unholstered, in hand pistol. It also depends on the laws of the locale.

Yeah it's situational for sure! Holstered wouldn't bother me at all. If they are acting stupid with it then I'd get the hell out and call the police. I open carry but don't keep a gun on me all the time, but if I was a law abiding citizen I wouldn't want to be judged for my rights as an American.

Context is huge. Is he wearing a mask? Is it cocked and raised? What are the state's open-carry laws?

I voted Do Nothing because I'm assuming the context is regular open-carry, I'm in a place with a huge gun culture and it doesn't bother me one bit.

If there's one psycho with a gun, hopefully there's multiple good people with guns, and we don't have to call the people with the guns to come and shoot the psycho with the gun. Which is basically what calling the cops is.

Now, if someone was masked-up and not fucking around I would be bolting out of there like an Olympian running track.
