This looks AWESOME as hell. As much as I love Winter Soldier stuff, I think I'm looking forward to this more than Captain America 2, now.

PS, Rocket Racoon is a badass.

This incarnation was only put together a few years ago during a revamp of the Marvel cosmic stuff. First fighting off Space bugs and Annihilus, then Ultron (in space) and some sort of robotic infection thingy that was an older X-Men thing, I think. And, even then, they weren't called the Guardians til their own series started right after these 2 Annihilation event series.

Anyway, it's interesting how they're marketing this, as Iron Man is usually pretty funny, but the trailers aren't, so much. Even Avengers was hilarious, but no trailers treated it as funny. The new poster for this movie, the tagline is something else...

Yes, I think it was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I wish I could be 8 again and see it through a child's eyes. On the drive home from the cinema all my son could talk about was gun toting raccoons, talking trees, dancing pot plants, and wanting to listen to classic rock!

Marvel hit it out of the park as far as I am concerned. Guardians of the Galaxy will return... Hell yes!

LOVED THIS FUCKING MOVIE. I don't even have the words to describe my love for it.

I laughed my ass off at the after scene credits. i feel like it was Marvel's way of saying "gotchya, bitches!" They KNEW we would be waiting. Fucking dicks. lololol. Definitely appreciated it though, and thought it definitely tied in with the fact that GoTG didn't take itself too seriously anyways. Perfection.

Ren and I are going to see it again on Friday and are bringing cutiepie LaughingLux with us.

Was surprised with a trip to see this tonight and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. It would have been less of an eye strain for me if it hadn't been viewed in 3D, but it was still way cool. The end scene was quite funny.
