Hi,
My name is Sammy and I'm a little terror. I'm fiercely protective of my mommy though and I follow her around wherever she goes like a lost ducky. I bark at EVERYTHING. Nothing scares me. In my mind, I'm a 200lb demon dog with razor sharp teeth. I'm very, very gentle with mommy and children though. I'll even sit still for little kids while they put and hug on me and won't wiggle until they go away, (mommy did not teach me that, she's not even sure where I learned it because I don't do it for anybody else.)

Also, my favorite chew toy is my sister's ears. I'm most likely the reason why she gets regular ear infections. Mommy and daddy and the vet have no clue how to get me to stop though.

my giant kitten (currently 7.5 months old, 6.5kg/14.5lbs) is an absolute sucker for red bull multi-can box things. Simply place the box, put an item on the opposite side as bait and watch him slide through lol He even does this when I'm not around, I came home one day and he was walking around wearing a 4-pack box around his tummy very nonchalantly, like it was completely normal lol.

Let's start with Guppy the momma's boy.

^^^ That was shortly after he got his balls clipped. Wasn't feeling his best.

Then there is Babylon, Guppy's sister. She's not one to usually sit still or cuddle for a picture. She also has perma-bitchface.

Then of course there is River. She sits in silent judgement every time I take a shower or bath.

And the kittens. ^_^ One of which is named Nucky, he would be the only one that doesn't look like a mini-Guppy.

Actually, he is now living with my parents. After their cat passed (old age, fluffy bastard was over 18 years old) my dad didn't want to admit it, but he was depressed. Him & Bane ALWAYS got on really well and unfortunately Bane is a single pet household type of guy (after his mate Ivy died, he kind of shunned other animals). So, he's living over there now, constantly spoiled & living the good life & my dad is happy to have a buddy again. Last I saw he was attempting to fulfill a vendetta against their Christmas tree. :lol:

ok good Yeah it's very hard to integrate new animals into a place that has an adult male cat that's used to being on his own or with only one other - just makes all the animals unhappy

i have 3 kitties... and i love em all dearly

had to say goodbye to two cats in the passed 3 years, but it doesn't feel right to leave em out

bella didn't come home from her afternoon walk, she just had a kitten 3 weeks before that.. and she was a wild one.. nothing kept her inside
never heard anything after that


jimmy was her son.. and unfortunately she passed on her 'wild' genes to him, after beeing missing for 5 days he was found dead 2 miles from home


when bella went missing i stumbled upon casper.. the weirdest spiny looking kitten ever.. he turned out to become quite handsome, he's my big cuddly kitten still


i got catootje when i was living with an old ex.. i met her al the shelter and was instantly in love.. she was really people shy.. and didn't get along with alot of people.. now she's out little queen and pretty much rules the two little guys :lol:


and then last may.. a delivery girl came at my door and told me her cat looked just like casper... and when she left she added that she just had kitten...
even though i knew i probably shouldn't.. it felt like a sign... miko came live with us in june.. he's a very naughty... but highly attached little guy


they're all really attached to eachother... it's really heartwarming

If only my little guy was as well-behaved as he is handsome lol, I think his wild ancestry has given him a slightly crazy streak - he now refuses to drink from his water bowl and jumps in the bathroom sink for me to turn the tap on so he can drink, steals things like crazy (for some reason there are like 5 bars of soap under my bed that I had to retrieve), stole and hid the plug from the bathroom sink about 3 or 4 months ago and I still havent found it, knocks everything off my bedside table one by one with his paw while looking directly at me, decides something is his toy, steals it, and then becomes very possessive and will continually steal it back lol.

It's all incredibly cute and fun, but god they really aren't kidding when they say bengals are a lot of work.

i got a present for the cats from my sister.. and this is what it looks like after 1! fucking day... he just ripped it apart over night
but overall he's a cute kitten... back when bella was young, i would really go insane by all the crazy shit she pulled on me...

If all of a sudden he grows a second tail one day, I have mastered the process of 'de-tailing'. :shock: You have to work really quickly and be sneaky or the animal who grew the second tail will freak. If it's a recurring thing, I have tricks for that too. :?

That makes me think Sammy's part cat! :lol: His tail looks just like a cat tail and usually does 'cat' things. I think that part of his body got mixed up or something, lol.

I bet the fuzzy tail thing is really cute/funny to watch though. One of my past photography classmates has two bengal rescues and she posts videos of that stuff. I'll have to ask her if she has any videos or pictures of the fluffy tail in action.
