I don't know where to post this and I'm really sorry if this isn't the correct place.
I received a phone call while I was on cam tonight and it was because my dad had been emitted to the emergency room.
Please, if you can contribute even a tiny tiny bit I would be eternally grateful.

Hate to be a dick but this story is kinda common in camland so don't be surprised if people are skeptical. How much do you need to raise? Have any friends or family you can borrow the money from?

It might be common because life kinda happens to people sometimes and sometimes said people reach out and ask for help from other humans who might be able to assist them.
I'm not putting all my eggs in one basket here, and if you're assuming that this is the only means I've taken to find money to go see my dad you are a sad eluded internet troll.

Katza, I don't think Punk was trying to "be a troll." I think he was merely telling you that it's going to be difficult to inspire people who have never been in your room (and only know you from the forum) to tip to help. He's right. We frequently see girls saying that this family member's sick, their daughter needs diapers, their dog needs braces, you know that kinda stuff. And because it's so common to hear, he was just giving you a heads-up. If he were trying to genuinely "troll" you, he definitely wouldn't have given two shits as to whether you had any other family to help. And I know Punk loves to argue and instigate, but it seems like he was trying to help you.

He asked how much money you were needing to raise. The more information you can give (like about the monetary goal, not personal information about location or anything) will help show people that your cause is legit.

Hey, thanks, and yeah I was just trying to help. First sentence was just a heads up that people might be skeptical because she is new here/unknown(I'd never seen her before this thread) and her story is pretty common. Second sentence was to see how much she needed because, oh I don't know, maybe I wanted to buy a ticket or at least help chip in on a ticket but it would have been quicker for her to borrow the money from a family member or friend and then pay them back with the money she raised. Time seemed critical. I get it tho, some people will take everything I say as offensive or an insult, what can ya do.

I kinda love when the thanks button turns into the "Yes, I too am miserable and not capable of logical thinking or reasoning and also love calling people names and acting like a five year old, problem?" button. Why some go so far out of their way to be unlikeable in a business where being likeable is kinda important is something I will never understand. These same people will wonder why they do so poorly in the camworld, funny stuff.

Sorry, I know I was actually about to send Punk a PM apologizing. I just wasn't the happiest little camper after being told my dad had almost died and was looking for someone to lash out at, and that happened to be you Punk.

I need to raise roughly $600 because apparently last minute flights are ridiculously expensive, but I might just take the bus for 18 hours because money is tight and I could just take a seriously long nap.
