Most favorite, 2nd and 3rd (if you're old enough ) Not necessarily "the best" but the one you liked.

I was born while Eisenhower was still in office, so that makes it easy for most favorite.
2nd - LBJ
3rd - Daddy Bush

1. Teddy Roosevelt
2. Thomas Jefferson

Once we dump the Chump, I think we should all concert our efforts to electing history's next Teddy Roosevelt.

As for the question at hand, postmodern presidents have mostly been a series of huge letdowns. I'd like to think that Carter would have done great things if he'd been reelected.
