Because new people that come in solely for the purpose of advertising instead of actually being interested in participating never learn most members here click on 'view new posts.' So they think by posting the message in multiple areas they will get more coverage. When in fact it simply shows both of their messages at the top together and screams newbie. :lol:

so trying to answer these feedbacks one by one...

first of all - be gentle with me, new to this forum and discussion.
LadyLuna - I can understand why phobia is probably not the most trust-building nick name, but what should have i gone with, "cooltechguy" or something?

Evvie - without going too much into detail, we've seen how girls here (and also celebs, news reports etc) use social media llke twitter and facebook, but mostly just to interact with people, and without real financial benefit (aside from getting people to come watch your cam when you're online) , and we think we have something that can also help you better use this medium.

AmeliaArcana - can't really say how this will affect your boobs, I guess you'll have to try and see

ga5457 - it doesn't cost anything to particiapate. what we want to do here is reach out to people that feel they can contribute to building this product the right way, make sure it serves your intersts, and let you enjoy it.

All that been said, how do you really use social media? what do you do on twitter? Talk to fans, friends, or both?

I use twitter to tell fans if something special is going on, and for random thoughts. I do not use facebook.

How do you propose we earn money from it? Promoting other people for them? Selling ad-space on our twitter? I'm not even sure it's possible to sell ad-space on twitter... and there are already programs out there that let you sell ad-space on your website which are adult-entertainment friendly, I'm sure those could be used with any social media site that would allow such things...

I think something that is a major plus to the way that I use Twitter (and not Facebook, I hate that site) is that it isn't spammy and doesn't scream "pay me now". I don't use picture hosts that have ads, I don't add commercials to any Youtube vids that I may make/post there, and the only link that I ever share there that brings me any money (via referral tokens only, mind you) is my live.ambercutie.com link which brings people to my chat room when I'm online.

If you're suggesting something that would require us including special links, adding ads to our pictures, etc., I think that a smart, business-minded cam girl would decline. Because a big "selling point" (heh) of the way a successful cam girl interacts on a social networking site doesn't involve crap like that.

I totally agree, and what we have in mind is completely different. Adding ads or trying to solicit your fans into unrelated stuff makes no sense. we're looking to create an experience that will upgrade what you can do today on twitter, but in a way that fits YOUR needs, which are usually in line with what your fans actually LIKE.

We'll soon have a prototype out and it would be awesome if you'd give it a try once it's available. Before that, and while it’s in the works, we're looking to discuss the concept in detail and get your feedback. It's just an honest feedback that we need, so anyone that's curious and willing to help - I can write this in a PM (for obvious reasons - I don't want to concept out here before it's live in the market) to whoever is interested and likes brainstorming and new ideas.

And another question if you don’t mind – do you mostly use Twitter on your phone, through your PC, 50/50 or… ?
