Yes, like all forms of sex work, sometimes the guys are just looking for someone to shoot the breeze with. I don't mind these sorts of interactions, and I think it's great that they realize that if they want to talk to us or take our attention away from whatever it is that we are doing, they have to pay for it like anyone else would.

With my vivid imagination and (sometimes) dirty mouth, I feel like I could do okay on a phone sex site (I can only use a cell phone though...no landline), but I'm just afraid I'll run out of "material" and end up saying the same damn shit I just said to the previous 3 callers. On Niteflirt, most of my calls or cam shows are about non-sexual things.For example, one of my best customers wants to talk about curing diseases. He is pre-med and wants my opinion on certain diseases.Meanwhile, other customers want to talk about their fears about behind the occult or evil. A lot of them think of me as a human version of the occultopedia. They ask me questions about grimoires and goriest horror films. Sex always comes last on Niteflirt with me. Of, I do have my clients into sex only. But so many clients call me to talk about the occult and stuff.

Those are actually my favorite calls. I have a regular who is on disability that calls me to moan and groan about how his grandma and mom treat him and i usually give him about 5 extra minutes because i feel for the guy. I once had a caller from new york who had just lost his wife and needed someone to talk to and we chatted it up for a good 90 minutes. I once had a caller who had progeria and he wanted me to treat him like he was normal and like he had a normal life and i had no problem doing that.....because the operator told me beforehand that he didnt have that long to live. Most people with progeria dont really make it to their teenage years much less adulthood. The stupidest call i ever had was a dude who wanted me to check the sex offender registry and see if he was still on it.
I really love the non-sexual the most because its usually someone who is really sweet and nonfilled with bullshit and that i can have a logical and intelligent conversation with. I love my job but sometimes its nice to do something out of the norm with it.

I am not a therapist and guys do not call me about those types of problems. I will go as far as to say that men do not call me for emotional stuff. Men call me because they want a horror themed experience. They want to talk to Elvira, mistress of the dark over the phone and can't . So, I fill that niche pretty well.
