Hi guys!! I'm new to MFC, I actually broadcasted for the first time this morning. I was hoping someone could help me out, I don't have a bank account right now, but I do have a Walmart Money Card, but I'm not sure if it'll work with MFC, has anyone tried this? How did you link the two?

Thanks!!!

You can't. MFC offers direct deposit to a bank account, international wire transfer, Payoneer and paper checks as payment options. If you don't have a bank account, you'll have to get a Payoneer card or get paper checks and then take them somewhere to be cashed. It'll probably be easier though just to open up a bank account and save yourself the hassle and wait time for the Payoneer card or a check.

If you live in the southern half of the US eastern time zone, I recommend BB&T. You can get a checking account and savings account for no fees if you agree to transfer $25 a month into your savings account automatically. You don't have to leave it there, you can transfer it back out the next day.

Otherwise, ask around. Most places have a bank which has free checking, or something similar to bb&t.

I'm in the northern half of the US Eastern time zone. If you think you might live close to me, send me an MFC mail from your model account and I'll narrow it down for you and tell you which bank I use, which does have a free checking account option.

This may be outdated info, but with your walmart money card, they DO provide you with an account number and routing number and I do believe that they will waive your monthly charge when you sign up for direct deposit. You can use those numbers to direct MFC's direct deposit into the card's "account". I did this when I first started a few years back and it worked great! Just gotta call the 800 number for the card and find out where to get your account and routing numbers.

Also, if you're concerned about being hacked, the money card is a great option because if someone does get ahold of your info, you're only risking what's on the card, not your entire bank account and credit card numbers. Been there before!!

Hope this helped!!
