This is why MFC's private shows are the way to go :twocents-02cents:
This is a usual response of mine in a situation like Donny's. And while it's worth a shot to ask MFC to review any MFC mails or PMs about it and get tokens back, I'd understand why they might ignore/refuse this request since it was for Skype. For videos or other content purchases that aren't something MFC offers directly, I think they'd be pretty helpful. But Skype just an off-site private. MFC offers private shows that are pay by the minute to ensure no one gets ripped off.

Using MFC as it was meant to be used (i.e. paying for and watching shows ON the actual site) would keep a lot of people from getting 'scammed'. Won't keep girls from accepting tips for a public show and then leaving, but that can be reported to MFC and would probably be dealt with.

Oh do you think MFC are likely to refund for videos/snapchat? Because I paid for one those club things (with tokens) for a model. She didnt give me anything and i just found out she deleted her account. :icon-cry:

I will send a mail to them later...

It's always worth a shot to contact MFC.

i am hoping ...*fingers crossed* she is making a new account..

but she didnt say anything.. i considered myself to be a "regular too".

oh well, i sent a mail.

Example, if a model chose to not to send them based on what she perceived as bad attitude or insulting behavior from you and said so, the chances are probably small of a refund. It might still happen depending on details but MFC feels strongly about letting models set their own rules for how they like to be interacted with. I'm not saying this was your case I'm just saying that the case has to be very strong in the members favors, which is why keeping communication in MFC involving these things is so important.

MFC should still feel a sense of obligation to refund the customer, and then just ban the customer from the site. The customer did pay afterall. While that doesn't give him or her the right to be rude or abusive, the customer is entitled to his or her money back as they did not receive the product. Working in hotels I had to kick many a guest out. As long as they did not end up spending the night, and I could get the roomed straightened up for another guest, you better believe I didn't post the charges to the credit card. I did, however, ban them from the facility.

I have never been successful with reporting a model who scammed me with a skype show or anything outside mfc. Only when I reported a "sub-par" private show. Then it comes with a lecturous "YOU SHOULD HAVE LEFT THE SHOW SOONER". Kiss my ass...I tried to give her reasonable time to begin performing. 200 tokens worth of time aint that long to wait, but is well enough time for her to begin.

I do like the idea of MFC staffing trolling the site looking for models who are offering "outside" services. MFC can use its own tokens and test the model. If she comes through, she keeps the tokens. MFC may be out a few bucks, but so are companies when they send in their secret shoppers. If she doesn't, then mfc can come up with a progressive disciplinary process. <warning, warning, terminated> pretty standard

MFC is a platform for independent contractors, not a boss. Whether you received in your eyes a "sub par" performance is of no concern to them because that is purely a personal issue between you and the model. The only thing of concern to them is if the site crashed and that "sub par" performance was interrupted at the fault of MFC's servers. I would have told you to pack sand too.
You seem to have a very skewed and incorrect view of how this industry works and that was my whole point, which you missed. MFC believes firmly in allowing models to be their own bosses and interact however they see fit, their room is their room and outside of the basic things we agree to when we sign up, they are not interested in micromanaging models. So unless it is a VERY blatant scam that has proof up the asshole that a mailed package never was even sent I wouldn't expect much, since it's hard to prove. and same goes for other scams, they need proof so keep those interaction on MFC in PM or MFC mail.

And HOLY HELL secret shoppers? Are we little girls going on our first dates with our big brothers being sent to spy from the back row behind a bucket of popcorn? That is the epitome of micromanaging! That's micro-manage baiting and a completely ludicrous idea. srsly now... you think customer service response time is bad now?  let's send them all scam hunting!

Actually you are incorrect Jolene.

We pay MFC when we buy tokens. And MFC pay you.

It is I can argue irrelevent which model we take private or tip. If we are unhappy with the service we can complain and get our tokens refunded.

In my case, mfc did not reply. And as I said I dont expect a refund because it was tip and its made quiet clear they wont refund tips.

Anyway, it just means I am less reluctant to tip models. I would rather stick to groups or privates. I am just finding being a guest is almost nearly as fun. :icon-cry:

Just because you're a sub-contractor and your own boss, does not mean you are not a representative of MFC. If I purchase a roof from ABC roofing, and it leaks; who am I calling? Am I calling the sub-contractor they sent to install it, or am I calling ABC roofing? MFC is a little different in that there is an avenue to settle your issues with the models, but when that fails, then MFC does need to get involved. They do need to protect their brand. You seem to think that MFC is different that any other business out there. They are not. Retail, travel, restaurants, and even the example of ABC roofing; all take measures such as secret shopping in the name of bettering their business. There is no reason MFC needs to be different. As for your baiting comment: Baiting is when you are purposefully trying to set someone up to do something nefarious. As long as the "spy" as you call them is adhering to what the model is actually offering, then there is no baiting. There is not a single business out there that does not rely on its customer service to be successful. <Maybe the post office, and DMV>. It hasn't happened yet, but one day MFC will need to learn this, and some models have have...the hard way!!

Um, is there any advice on how to identify models who are i guess more likely to scam?

Obviously camscore can be an indication, ratings, comments etc etc.

Anything else, things models will say or do? I tend to give the model the benefit of doubt, when they say they had some issues etc..

But yeah i will be changing my approach.

You're all right, I'm wrong. I have no idea how the site I've been almost exclusively dealing with for 4 years works. Maybe you should all send emails to support with all of these things they are missing.

Next time a model has a chipped nail in private, you might be able to get your tokens back!

I've never once said MFC doesn't issue refunds... what I said is there has to be proof and it has to be a cut and dry scam usually, AtaBoy is a great example of why. so every joe blow pissed off the girl didn't squirt harder doesn't demand a refund. Good gravy. What a mess.
I'm out. I need to go hide under the blanket of my sane and rational MFC member pals.

Cry the world a damn river Jolene. I do not believe I said anything about broken nails or the forcefulness of a models squirt. Drama school much? I do believe I inferred that 200 tokens worth of time was well enough to give the model a chance to begin. Implying that I have gone pvt and had the model either just sit there...or run to the other room...etc etc. Also, my point was simply that this business is the same as all businesses. There is a product for a fee and the product needs to be delivered upon payment.

I was being sarcastic... but I will. It will flow mightier than the Rio Grande.

And yes, Drama camp every summer.

Frustration with missed points got the better of me. Apologies to the OP for the derail and possible headache.
