Chaturbate Fundamental Change? (Anonymous Viewers)

Hey All,
Recently, the room visitor count has dramatically lowered. Also, the rooms that have a high visitor number have an inordinate number of Anonymous viewers which give them good real estate on the pages..
For example, with numbers from my head. There were 4,000 in a room with over 3,000 being Anonymous viewers. I find that hard to believe. Does Chaturbate pump up the numbers with Anonymous.
Can models buy Anonymous viewers from a 3rd party?

Have other models felt the same behavior? Is the US economy and trade tariffs affecting Chaturbate due to discretionary income being less?

If yes, What is Chaturbate doing about it?

This is such a shitty attitude. It may be boring to you based on what you think you bring to the table but it may be awesome to a bunch of people who don't go past the main page. I've seen a ton of "top models" who are boring as fuck. Ohhhh you're doing yoga. Yawn. Ooooh you're just sitting there on your phone. Yawn. They get tipped. Hell one of the top models has a warning on her account to not tip her because she doesn't do a damn thing requested.

Please check the earnings of these models that took over the front page in the past week on statbate.com and you'll see how people tip them. Their viewer count doesn't move. They have around 50 viewers on average and hardly any tips.

Anyway, I'm not going to argue with you. If you like what CB did now I'm fine with that.

I posted already list models, you can check them om cbhours and you can see something is wrong with majority of these rooms. This is not problem only second page, but also second and third, same situation and I say cb is here sleeping.

Hmm I took a look at these 2 at the time I visited elsa_wow didn't look too strange but sherbru did seem really unusual. No idea I see she jumped to the top half of page 2 with 3 users.

Are you referring to april 2019? that was when they stopped light blues from counting towards position, it was almost like they were greys.

No I meant like an actual error where for 2 or so days people could be ranked #1 with only 5 people in their room and on page 15 with 2k viewers.

I'm just highlighting that CB sometimes makes changed to the site that can cause errors for a short time.

But algo changes happen all the time as well. And now with them giving every logged in account a different ordered list of models the base ranking doesn't work exactly the same for stream-development anymore. When you stream you notice certain changes pretty drastically.

One example of a drastic change for me since they started offering curated pages for accounts is that my placement is a lot more stable (so harder to move both up and down). It's noticable since it used to be the case that when I'd go to the toilet my rank would immediately nosedive. Now I can leave and come back to the same (or even better) rank. Crazy impactful change for me (both positive And negative)

I hope all models can get their bag and have whaly good days. We'll have to work within the workings of the sites we use and deal with the whims of traffic/viewers but that doesn't mean we should work against eachother or bring eachother down in the process.

If you're logged into an account you don't see the "base" pages. You see a currated one to that account (even if you opt out). Which means you can see small rooms with next to no viewers in high FP spots.

Log out and check again.

This is correct, except logging out alone won't change what you see. You have to clear the browser cookies or use incognito mode for the true positions to be seen without recommended cams being displayed.

Thanks for the recommendations from people who were too lazy to open cb explorer, but if you check some suspicious accounts you will see that the rank also shows cb explorer. Some people spent hundreds of hours finding that something is wrong. You are commenting here about something you have no idea about. We know that something is wrong and it is getting worse and worse every day. We just shared what we found, that's all. Maybe someone in cb is getting paid for it. Anyway good luck all.

Mostly between 10 pm - 8 am there's about 10 studio accounts that appear on the 1st page and take spots between 99 and 40. Some of them land on the front page with 3 colors and 40 anonymous after just 10 mins of broadcasting. What it causes is the drop of earnings for "regular front page" models per hour as now it takes at least 1 hr and sometimes even 2 hrs to have your followers to come to their rooms and stay there so they get ranked higher. Most tippers or viewers don't look at the 2nd page unfortunately. Moreover, there's a sudden rise in the number of female broadcasters in the past month because of what happened. The regular front page models have slow rooms for quite sometime now so they hang out on cam forever to have some tips. I've been camming for 8 years now and I've never seen 80 pages of female brodcasters at 8 pm EST when basically Europe sleeps (2 am) Crazy.

I feel the situation worsened about a week ago. Looking at these studio accounts they started this scam in December.

I believe CB knows what's going on and they did it on purpose. Maybe they have some kind of a deal with the studios or maybe they're testing something... Who knows?

All this craziness lasts between 4 pm til about 2 am EST.

65 pages of female broadcasters at 12 am EST last night. Top model ashley_benson1 was struggling for 2-3 hrs on the 2nd page and basically had no tips.

Since you've been in the industry for 8 years, I'm sure you remember how things were during the Covid pandemic and lockdowns. There was a huge influx of new models joining the adult industry, because the economy had slowed down, people were losing their jobs and they were doing what they could to make money. We're seeing this same thing happening again, it seems. The stock market plunged yesterday. The majority of Americans, proven by polls, are worried about the US going into an economic recession or even depression. It makes sense that there would be more models camming and creating content right now, especially since around Covid adult work has been much more mainstream than ever before. To make matters worse, most people are cutting back their spending because of economic reasons as well as it being tax season and more people are owing instead of getting a refund.

It sucks, none of us need to be pleased about this, but that's the way life is. You said the competition is unfair, but honestly, life itself can seem unfair sometimes. You need to roll with the punches and if you're not making the money you need to be making on CB, there's other cam sites and even clip sites you can work on.

Let's just say CB is, for some reason, intentionally boosting "slow" rooms and burying popular models. That makes no sense from a business perspective, but let's just say that is what's happening. What can you do to change that? Nothing. Keep camming on CB to try to boost your tips, try other cam sites, try making content or get a vanilla job. Any of those options are far better than obsessing over something you cannot change by continuously checking the CB front page and other models' rooms.

Yes guys, like I'm always saying... when the times get tough, stop taking any ownership or control of the situation yourself completely. Stop any and all content production, marketing or other efforts to increase your fanbase, and buy a big notepad. Then cut your shifts short, so you can make your new full time job; stalking other models rooms, and writing their names down in it. After this, be sure to go to public forums and report the results publically! Not only will this do wonders for your likability, and the motivation of your colleagues to support you, and help you out (when you might need it). But it will also, impress your therapist with your new, improved time management skills. And any other models you did happen to be friends with, and told about your new investigations, are going to feel so much increased trust in you!

This is what I'm always telling people; just give the fuck up, and go with a conspiracy theory instead! Because, ya know, even if it were true, the chances you're going to do anything to change it are so fucking high!

All that time you could have been channeling into business, marketing, learning, networking, improving filming & editing skills and content growth - just don't.

hi I'm a big earner on my camsite when i decide to cam. if you have an established audience and consider yourself a big earner, placement doesn't fucking matter. the last time i cammed i was in the backpages, i made my goals so fucking easy. when a big earner sees that their traffic is cut in half, they don't fucking care, because they have users who can easily find them. after all, we have already been favorited or followed. your established audience can help boost you or make your goals until your placement fixes itself.
