CB Model Following Own Room

For the models here who broadcast on CB, are you able to follow your own room?
If so, is there any benefit to doing this (other than having one more follower)?
I checked my own broadcast page but there is no option to follow it, but I'm wondering if it is possible when a room is run by a studio account rather than an independent broadcaster.

Context: a few recent posts have referenced a particular 3rd-party statistics site, and when I checked it out from curiosity (since it's often inaccurate in capturing public tips), I noted a model appeared to be following their room.

Thanks, will check that. Are you aware of any reason to do this, beyond gaining one more follower? For example, could there be a benefit from the elusive algorithm in having a verified model follow an account?
I looked at a bunch of room names at random on that site after spotting this one, and none of the others were followers of their own room.

Yes, I can follow myself. I'll leave the speculation about everything else up to you all.

Yes, what happened was many years ago a CB coded decided to put a backdoor...at first he tried up up down down left right left right b a enter but found it too difficult to hide such a long series of entries in the code so instead he changed it to following yourself.



Nothing so easily abused would be a factor in the algorithm. So it's a very safe bet that nothing related to followers is part of the algorithm....personally I strongly believe that the only positive factor in all of the various algorithm factors is colored names in the room. I believe everything else is a negative factor for example some people say tipping increases position but I believe that not receiving tips lowers your position slowly and receiving tips again brings you back towards your normal position.

Normal members can follow themselves, too. I’m not a broadcaster, but I visited my own profile page while logged into CB and was able to follow myself.

Can’t think of a single reason why I’d want to, but yeah.

So I used to watch myself sometimes when clients said my painting was black. But I had to unlock my country. I used to watch my room sometimes to see what the painting was like. But I don't do that anymore.
