I did not state any alternative facts and I stand by that. And I am a genuinely nice person and I don’t need the approval by you or anyone else. I tell many to have a blessed day or god bless them because life is a gift and some people don’t realize that. And what propaganda was a spewing exactly?
I already pointed some of them out in my last post.
1. "I've seen Republicans get cancelled and name called". This sort of implies that Republicans that are being "cancelled" are having it done just because they are Republican. Every single one of the Republicans I've seen de-platformed, banned off of social media or cancelled were either spreading propaganda and unfounded conspiracy theories and/or actively calling for violence in the form of civil war.
2. You said Trump didn't blame situations on others and didn't use fear to rule, and then went on to say that it was people on "the left" who were doing that. Trump has blamed a lot on Obama, but I think one of his more outrageous claims was during the beginning of the Covid pandemic when Trump literally said Obama left him "empty cupboards" and "broken, obsolete tests"... for a virus that didn't even exist at the time. After Obama had put together a pandemic response team, which Trump disbanded once in office. During Trump's campaign rallies for the 2016 and 2020 election he played on his supporter's fears, saying how suburbs would cease to exist if Democrats came into office because they would go into their suburbs and build a bunch of low income housing (read: minorities would be moving into their neighborhoods). He said how America would be ruled by socialists (Biden isn't a socialist) and that China would eventually take over, despite the fact that Trump has actually praised Xi multiple times in the past. He was just using China as a new form of red scare. He lied multiple times about the accuracy of the election, months before the election even occurred to make people fearful and doubtful over election integrity so that if he lost he could claim "it was rigged! I said so all along!", which is what he did. I mean, there's countless examples of Trump using lies, fear mongering and casting the blame onto others.
3. "the left has been trying to do thing without precedent and acting like they don’t know due process!"
@Brit already brought this up, but I'm curious what do you mean by this? I mean, not that it really matters because any court proceedings that Trump has been involved in, he has been granted due process. During the previous impeachment trial and this one he has been (and will be) able to defend himself.
4. "One key democratic agenda was to get rid of oil. Well thank you Biden for getting rid of oil production in the US, taking away millions of jobs from hard working Americans who work their asses off to support us " I previously replied to this with snark, but I'll be more serious. Biden and the Democrat's goal is to combat the climate crisis the entire planet is facing right now. The best way to do that is to focus on clean, renewable energy and try to get away from fossil fuels. Also, I would love to see where you are getting "millions of jobs lost" because of Biden.
5. "And now we are just going to give those money and jobs to the Middle East. Back to the US being a huge sellout where they rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
back to being sold out to China" The focus is on clean, renewable energy. Not "giving money and jobs to the Middle East". However, I'm sure you also had just as big of a problem with Trump's Saudi Arabian arms trade deal. Or how he literally rented out our troops to them. A country who Trump has personal business dealings with, might I add. Or the way he dealt with Kim Jong Un and Putin. I'm bringing this up because you said "back to" which implies that Trump wasn't selling us out to other foreign nations.
All of that was just from that one post. I know this is probably coming off as an attack, but honestly, it's not. I think spreading misinformation like this is dangerous. You claimed that you didn't want to be too partisan, but like, that's all your post was. And I'll just say this, I'm not a Republican or a Democrat. I'm proudly registered as No Party Preference, because I think there's a ton of issues with both major parties and even the minor parties. I'm pretty much right smack dab in the middle of the political spectrum. And I see a lot of this propaganda and blatantly untrue stuff and it annoys me, no matter what side it's coming from, and I think it's important to call it out when you see it.
