I think this guy one of those who use viewer bots on CB for other models.

I am trying to be totally genuine - please try not to make unfair asumptions. I have posted this after being asked too by several models who think it would be really worthwhile.

Many thanks, really taking all comments on board. Its not a side venture as such, this is what I do professionally through my consultancy, but for obvious reasons I need to separate this support from the corporate support that I do.

I absolutely guarantee everyone that nothing here is a con etc.
Alright, I see from the CV that you put on your peopleforhour.com that you are only starting. As was already said it would be a good idea to make a website first, and use whatever euphemisms you need for your model services. Are you making it yourself or did you hire someone to handle it for you?
Could you post your model account, please?

I am only just starting freelance, but I have been in the corporate world for 27 years, so please dont think I'm a novice. Model account?? I am no longer a model (44 now lol), I stopped modelling when ladies sites went out of business due to the increase in sites such as MFC where ladies could "get the honey for free" as it were.

Yes, I meant the freelance. Ladies sites? What do you mean?

Got a sample business plan? I'd like to see what my potential ROI would be as well as a SWOT analysis.

Remember everyone, business plans are first read in the last 2 pages (that's the important part). If you like what you see, then you start reading it.

I'm probably showing my age now, but if we go back 15/16 years when chat rooms etc were in their infancy there were ladies cam sites that provided the services of guys for ladies to view. These were all wrapped up around 9/10 years ago as when the newer cam model sites became popular there were 100's or 1000's of guys on line that lady members could chat too for free.

Hi I am more than happy to dscuss with you, although providing a business plan on here would kinda be shooting myself in the foot as many would see it as a template. Of course this isnt the case as every models circumstances, market niche etc will affect turnover and ROI, and SWOT analysys survival income will differ in each individual circumstance.

I'll drop you a 121 conversation request.

Many thanks

If this is not a side venture is this your main source of income? At what rates do you offer your services, can you give us a ball park figure?

Hi - happy to share this link that will take you diectly to the listing on Peopleperhour.com

This is business plan specific, I am currently putting together some fixed price packages for more general business consultancy and support.

Many thanks

Could you post a name of that chat room?
So I gather you don't actually know much about the current cam business and what it means to be a model in 2017?

I do know as have many friends who are models currently, so I have an excellent appreciation of the industry and the challenges faced, both in terms of social perception, competition and importanty the laws that affect the industry that many models are not aware of and flaunt daily putting themselves at risk of arrest and prosecution.

You can get MANY business plan templates for free online right now, especially if you're a farmer, they are free, as well as the education to do it. Just google "USDA Small Farmer Business Plan information". However, it takes skill and practice to do forecasting, which not too many people are going to pick up from a template. I went to the website you linked me to, which didn't show a Phil, it was for a hourly rate rate. While the rate is about right for the corporate sector, it is very high for model. It would take me quite a few hours of work to afford 1 hour. Not too much of that description appealed to me as a adult worker, I'd need less than half of the services rendered on that list. Would the hourly rate be the same?

Best of luck to get your business services started.

You're making the cam model community sound like an awful bunch of reckless witless desperadoes. Are police forces occupied on a regular basis rounding up models? You're giving me visions of police cells packed with models. :yikes:

So what was the name of the chat room?
I used to work out of two "Suburban Guys" and "FWB" - both were UK based platforms so if you are in the US you may be unfamilier. Both were closed down some 9/10 years ago.

Not at all, but there are laws out there that many models are not aware of, and a business should be aware in order to achieve its goals. What I am trying to do is take modelling out of the closet and provide a service that unfortunately many consultants wouldn't cater for.

Yes, I meant the freelance. Ladies sites? What do you mean?

I'm confused about this too... I would appreciate hearing about your experience as a cam model, how long ago, what did you do, how successful were you etc.

Bearing in mind that professional webcamming has not really been a thing for that long, and definitely not at the level it is now. Saying you were a webcam model 15-20 years ago is kind of like saying "I worked in IT 30 years ago" as an example of you knowing all about computers. As you are wishing to be hired by models I would hope that you would write a resume for us with as much effort as you would in the business world. I am sure you would not write "I worked in this field once a long time ago" with no other information, then be vague about exactly what your roles have been in your professional career since, and not check for spelling.

You don't come across as a dick and what you are suggesting could be a legitimate area that a model might hire help, on the other hand, you haven't made me feel particularly excited about your credentials. I would not hire you based on this thread.

So what would I need to know?
Well I would like you to write an actual CV for this field. I would like to see a well written description of you and your professional career, highlighting why you are suitable for this role. I would like you to list all of the fields you have worked in, what your role was and what your responsibilities were. I would like to know situations where you excelled. I would like to know any training you have done. I would like to know what made you interested in this role, for example, why did you originally become a webcam model? How long did you do it for? What site did you work on? How much did you make on average? Were you full time? Why did you quit? Why have you started visiting camsites as a customer? How long have you been a customer? How much time do you tend to spend on MFC? This part is mainly as I want to know if you are spending time on camsites in your free time or if you are unemployed.
You don't need to write your real name on this or any of the actual companies as it would be public, but I would need to know who you are and proof that you are being truthful before I chose to hire you.

Also, who are you marketing this service towards? You mentioned helping girls not quit immediately, but the services you are offering are services that would not have helped me much while in my new model status, nor would I have hired you at this point. I think what you are offering would cost too much for new models to put themselves out of pocket in the hopes of continuing. The services you are offering are ones which could be useful to models who have found success and enjoyment in live camming and have decided to treat it as a serious career but maybe need a helping hand with learning the administration side of things. Taxes for example are something which once you know how to do they are easy, but initially they feel like this big daunting area.
If you have worked in an area around finances then a business plan I would be looking for would be: Different savings accounts with different interest rates, what are the benefits of each? Much of this you can get from websites designed towards saving money, but having someone else look up the information and present it clearly could save time and effort.
Same with accounting, what are the benefits of hiring an accountant? Has the camgirl got any goals such as getting a mortgage? In England you need an accountant to verify your earnings each year so handling your own accounts is not suitable. How much would this cost and how much could she save?
How much money should a model be putting aside each month for taxes? All of this is pretty straightforward stuff, but if you're dealing with an 18-20 year old cam model they may have absolutely no idea of any of this, they may also have no interest in finding out. So when I see writing a business plan, I would hope that this would be some of the focus.
I would also like to know more about whether setting yourself up as a business and paying yourself a wage would be less or more in tax. I have no idea how this works but I remember Kickaz talking about it years ago.
Also information on credit cards and how to play the system to get the best credit rating. The information is out there, but it doesn't mean all models know it or know where to find it. One of the charities I worked with used to have all the information on their website, my job was literally to find that information for them and explain it to them. At the end of the day, people like to hear information from a person rather than finding it themselves. ACF for example is an amazing resource for models, but it can take time to sift through all of the information to find exactly what you want.

If you're good with maths then there are obviously potential graphs on the best times to earn etc which could be created. As models we get a fair amount of information which you could play around with to make the data more readable.
Is any of this stuff you could do?

As a model I have no interest in a member dictating or controlling what I get up to on cam or when I do it. I would never want a manager. But I might pay someone to look at where I want to be in the industry and my earnings and find out all the options of making this happen so we could discuss and work out the right course of action. Then they could create my business plan and I would pick and choose what I want to do.
Has anyone ever done distance learning? They send you the "lessons" and then when you're stuck you can go through it with your tutor, but the tutor doesn't hassle you. For this to work I think it'd have to be similar to that.

If you can't do any of the business, mathematics and research then you would not be of any use to me. Everything that I mentioned I can do for myself, and for the most part I am sorted, but I would rather focus more time in making content and live camming. So I would potentially hire someone to do all of the grunt work so it were laid out for me perfectly. Essentially just a helper, finding out what credit cards are available, what postage costs are to various places, which days and timings are actually the best, which clip sites gain the most traffic, basically anywhere that I can save time and monies. Also if you knew HTML coding then that would obviously be sweet, because I would pay someone to make me a good profile and teach me the coding so I can easily edit and upload new stuff.

I think that if I'm in need of legal help that I'll probably stick to... lawyers. American ones, in my case, and in the case of most cammers here.

Also, hi. I was being paid for boobs 15 years ago. You hung out in *chat rooms*? Clearly... let us all defer to the expert, lol. You did NOT do anything like what we do 15 years ago. End of.

Good afternoon everyone. Unfortunately it would appear that my attempts to provide a legitimate support service isnt being well received on the whole.
I feel that with every question I answer in line with my 27 years corporate business experience, with the past 12 being at a senior level, there is just another comment aimed at trying to call me a scammer.
I would like to thank everyone who has provided positive feedback and constructive responses, but it seems that although I was requested to try, the modelling industry will be impossible to break into.
I wish everyone success and happiness.

Don't forget to type before or after the quote brackets...

You hung out in *chat rooms*? [...] You did NOT do anything like what we do 15 years ago. End of.
Also, I'd agree with this being a point of contention. When I first saw your post I thought you may get the benefit of the doubt on this forum for having been a male cam model, but I do believe it's clear now that you don't have direct relevant experience to advise current cam models outside of basic business stuff. With all the guys trying to get a piece of our pie with advice and programming and apps, etc, it's tough to gain trust and traction in this community without having actual experience with it yourself.

Ah and just as I was making my last reply, you nailed it on the head. This is not the type of experience that best serves a cam model with their business needs. At least you've paid attention to the replies and understand that now.

Best of luck to you.

Many thanks for your personal response Amber. Although I am confident that my support would be useful, I fully appreciate that my genuine nature is likely trumped many times by those not being genuine and just trying it on for a number of reasons.

I will continue to assist models on an ad-hoc basis when requested via word of mouth and wish evry forum member my very best wishes for future success.

Many thanks, I know that my level of business experience that is also linked with industry appreciation is rare but I understand that you are actually looking for a senior business consultant with an up to date modelling career.

I wish you all the best.
