Brand new, what to have ready, and what do I wear??

Hello everyone, Aria here.

I have my orientation and first cam show tonight. I'm nervous and excited! I'm mostly nervous because I don't know what I should wear!!! I have a peach lacy lingerie:

A wine-colored corset:

and a bunch of pink teddies and such. I also have matching bra & panty sets with garters...should I wear a dress over that??

As for what to expect; I like to be naked. So should I have toys present? I don't want to pull out all the gimmicks for my first show, but I also want to make an impression.

HALP, please.

I actually don't know if the site matters in regards to your question. I only know how mfc works lol. But it really depends on my mood and what I plan to set as a topic that determines what I will wear that night. Sometimes I like to wear sexy lingerie and tease a lot but then other times(and most times) I like to wear something casual as Cora said. I have had a few regs tell me they love when I wear my regular clothes, just a cute little dress or something.

But, as mentioned, I think anything you feel good in will work fine! If you want to use toys your first night then I wouldn't hesitate. I personally don't use toys while on cam but when I watch the girls that do I like when they switch it up each night(hitachi,dildo,vibrator,plugs etc). So of course don't pull out all your toys at once but pick your fav maybe?

I think once you get in the groove of things you will have a better idea of what works for you and your room :-D goodluck and have fun!!!!

I feel a lot more people take the girls closest to naked in private because they know there won't be a ton of stalling. It may make for short shows, but I'd go for a lot of short shows over one or two average length ones. Those minutes add up

As a camgirl I disagree.
Sure, those minutes add up but I would ALWAYS rather take a few longer shows instead of a ton of short ones.
Taking a ton of back to back short shows leaves you feeling way more burnt out and tired than taking the equivalent amount of minutes in just a few long shows.
The days where I spend 3 hours in paid but it's only 4 or 5 shows are way easier on me than the days I spend 3 hours in paid but do 25 shows.

I'm signed up through a studio, but it's more of a guide. They have been showing me how to navigate the whole scary world a little bit, and I've gotten some helpful emails, but it's easier to get more in-depth answers on here haha.

I think I did alright on my first day! I'm not sure what is average for a newbie but I hit 2800 coins on MFC, so hopefully that's good? I was pleased, at least!

It's nice to hear that casual clothes work as well. I have an HD cam and generally good lighting (I'll be investing in better lights for the winter after first payday comes) so the amount of black I wore in skirt form wasn't bad. other than that I wore a cute bra & panty set with matching garter, and some stockings.

Just remember that there are free communities out there too. It's really good to hear that there are studios out there that are creating a supportive environment for their models though.

I think it went well! I don't know what average coins are for a newbie but they said I did really well for a complete novice haha. It was fun, hard work.

And yeah, it's run by former/current models. Which is neat!

I think 2800 tokens is good for your first night if you ask me. I have heard some of the top girls say they made under 100 tokens their first day. I personally made about 1500 my first day so you're off to a good start!
