Best looking Profiles On MFC

But after reading through all this you make interesting points.. I never really thought of my profile as being used for anything other than finding additional info on me and my contests etc either while I was online or from my twitter link. So i might see if theres somewhere else I can put when I last logged in, if I'm currently online etc.

There have been a few times that I use the "send MFC mail" link at the top of a model's profile. It's easier than going to my MFC mail page, typing in her name, and sending it from there. And I do like seeing the "last logged on" text if I'm trying to see if it's been a while since she logged on, etc.

I find it important, but others may not. *shrug*

I'm going to add it back on PlayboyMegan's profile as well as my profile. I redesigned my profile to be simpler, now to add the top in a pleasing way. This thread has been helpful, thanks!

That's copied from my CSS. I left most of it as default but you can obviously play around with it.

You won't, because by default it doesn't have specific styling for that element.
Adding it is making a specific styling for the element. The style of not being displayed

However, I think MFC has an issue with translating the current CSS into the custom. In other words, what you've currently got may not be represented when you go into manually editing the CSS.

So if you click on manual css edit - then before anything else, hit preview and see if its looking as it should. If it is, then add the css style of display none for that element and you should be good to go.
If it doesn't look like your page on preview, then for some reason MFC isn't getting your CSS style correct. Why? I don't know.

So mine has the default layout. If I go for custom CSS and then preview, I'm green... so it isn't translating the default layout into that css page. Unsure where it comes from or what happens - so if you didn't do your own page before, it may be an idea to visit your page - view source - copy the css. That way you've got a "backup" before fiddling.

The customisation options on MFC are actually pretty good for profiles. I reckon even without any knowledge of html or css code, pretty much anyone can knock up a half decent profile. I just spent the last 10 minutes farting around with mine...

... and it looks like a teenager's myspace page from 2002 But, the point is, anyone with a vaguely artistic eye, could probably make a serviceable, functional profile page just by using the customisation options on MFC. Same here, the images aren't showing up. What image service did you use? I tried using imgur for mine at first, but the images were all private, and I couldn't figure out how to make them public so my images weren't showing up either. So I switched to imageshack. Maybe it's something similar?

But I definitely can say I love your color scheme and the background is so cute!!

Yup it's Imgur! I had a chance to check from my desktop. I was on my tablet before. Imgur only let's people with the link view the image. I don't know why or how to change it. But you can definitely go to a different image hosting website, like imageshack for the profile images.

I was able to see the images by right clicking and getting the URL.

My only feedback is that the thought bubble images for Raffles and Highest Tippers and this Little Lady's Stuff are hard to read with the cloudy filter over the lettering.

Other than that the images are very cute, and informative! great job!

I wasn't able to see any images either... I usually just use postimage.org

Yeah, the cloudy images, I think, would work out better if the lettering was solid. You could make them solid, but of a different color or value, if you want them to be different form the other text. Another way to make it stand out is to use fonts of a different style for those particular parts. Since it's in a thought bubble, perhaps something a bit rounder.

At any rate, it looks good! It's cute and approachable, and it makes me want to meet you.

Via CSS properties.

So under "Customise" you can go to "Edit your css directly".

.status_key {
display:none;
}
.status_value {
display:none;
}

What this is doing is saying - for the class status_key (matches a <td class="status_key"> tag) and status_value, set the property of display to none. You could narrow it down further by defining within a certain heirarchy on the page (if there were two uses of the same class, but different hierarchy, you could therefore target just one).

It means it is no longer "there" for all intents and purposes.
This means this line:
Status: Online - Premium - Send a MyFreeCams Mail - Leave a Comment

will disappear.

The important thing to note here is when you create a custom css page in mfc, you might lose the settings you created with the auto css creator page. Just copy/paste before making any changes is all. Here's the css I use to hide some the things at the top:
