artificially increase the number of users in the room

let's say I'm a model with few users.
I have 5 friends with quite powerful computers and a high-performance connection.
I make each of these friends open 60 anonymous browser sessions aimed at my room. so, at some point, I'll find 300 anonymous users in the room and go, let's say, from page 50 to page 20 of the portal.
Could this work? CB checks and I risk getting banned?
or other consequences?

you don't even need accounts to boost your anon users. Open the models room in sites like yescams, that host CB and you will have another anon for each site you keep the room open in. Not sure if that's what you mean

Only colored users count and there are other variables which affect placement.

You can create multiple colored user accounts. There are a few services which provide that on a paid basis but very expensive. Yes, it violates terms of service.

Some people won't, but say users were searching for models using tags, it would have a bigger effect there, maybe it would take someone to page 2 from page 5.

Anons count for nothing. My understanding is that what counts is how many registered users who have ever purchased tokens, the idea being that those users are of course far more likely to buy more tokens than an anon or a grey user. Hence those rooms are favored.

Scrolling page by page would be incredibly time consuming, but occasionally, I’ve been known to skip directly to the middle-ish pages (say page 10-25) before I begin my search. I do it because I know there are thousands of models and if I searched from Page 1 every time, I’d miss out on some good rooms stuck in the deeper pages.

But to your point, I’m sure the overwhelming majority of visitors stick to probably the first dozen pages or so.

We normally land in page 1 or 2 without any manipulation whatsoever. Our regular followers and moderators help us maintain our placement.

Maybe focus on building yourself, rather than wasting your time and money on fake traffic?

I'm mainly chasing a nice personality(To my tastes) .. That id like to "help"..

But since I work on computers, or code on computers for personal.. I'm on a comp 100+hours a week.
And occasionally its nice to say hello to a sexy girl, with a nice personality while working/coding.

So..
I don't usually visit those on the 1-2nd page for those reason's.
I usually look around the 20-100 viewers mark, around page 20 or so.
Least then, the model "usually" has time to say hello.. And appreciates the average tips more.

Probably not, since I don't know what you are talking about : )
Ive only been hanging around CB a lot since March 1st, in prep for streaming.
And I only drop in for a hello/tip to two model's regularly. A Columbian and an east European.
