Apples To Apples

OMG have you played this game? No one is ever motivated to play it when they hear the name of it, but I'm tellin ya.... DO IT!!!

GREEN cards are adjectives and RED cards are random nouns or verbs. Each card has a definition too. The game comes with blanks so you can make your own.

Example GREEN cards:
Appetizing
Sexy
Gross
Upsetting

Example RED cards:
Michael Jackon
The KKK
Dildos
Zombies

Each player gets a set amount of RED cards, depending on how many players there are. Each turn, there is a different judge. We usually just go in a circle. The judge draws a random GREEN card and lays it down to be displayed. The card say for example is "sexy". Each player (excluding the judge) lays down (face down) one of their RED cards that they think is sexy, or even something that is sooo not sexy. If you think that saying "Oprah" is sexy will make the judge laugh and cause you to win that round, go for it! I'm always sarcastic with mine. The judge picks the best RED card that was laid out, and whoever selected that RED card gets to keep that GREEN card. The first person with the required amount of GREEN cards (depends on how many players you have) wins the game! This game has brought me sooo many drunken laughs.

Love this game! It's a staple at all family get togethers, right after spoons and fart contests. :lol: It's probably really immature, but I think it's hilarious watching my male relatives try to out fart each other.

The most accurate, concise way I've heard Cards Against Humanity described is "Assholes to Assholes."

I've played "Auschwitz" to the "What gives me uncontrollable gas?" card. Twice. Once to a friend who is of Jewish descent. Yes, I'm ashamed... but it won both times.

CAH rules! It was so popular at the OMG! Con (local anime convention) that the guests actually requested one of the two copies from the tabletop room so they could play it themselves. I do have to say that the makers of the game probably made a nice dollar from my gaming group, enough people have it. We're actually making our own expansion to it, since you can buy blank cards.

No they don't, I got to, "Touchy-Feely - Helen Keller", and burst out with such a bleating Bahaha, that my dog lept to her feet and stumbled sideways into the closed sliding glass door, which made me almost piss myself laughing. :lol: I just love blind humor. The game sounds very fun. If I never get the full version, the description has already been a winner! :dance:

Unfortunately there's no way to play on the computer, but I got all excited when I found out it was available on xbox. The excitement was short lived... There aren't enough players and you end up sitting there waiting for people to join the game. I waited almost an hour, no luck
