interesting , i find it funny that some models never thought changing prices on a raffle tickets changes the odds of winning per amount invested.. this is math.)))

as to fair,,, members want a fair draw, mixed bag, a chance...

after that most ,, not all, will not argue money,, it is fun tipping,, tickets, videos, ect,, red bra on head ,, ect. ect..

No one said we didn't think it changed the odds. Every ticket purchased changes the odds. Many of us just didn't/don't see the big deal. It's not as if we don't understand math.

But let's say it was a raffle for a new Ipad, or Xbox or an all expense paid trip to Europe to meet the model and go out on a date. My level of annoyance would be significantly higher if I had spent 2000 tokens on a raffle ticket and then the last week she started offering deals to people then.

Yes.

It would be like entering a poker tournament where the prize is X and the buy in is $Y. Then finding out at the start of the tournament that the organizers lowered the buy in to $Y*.5 or half the initial cost of the buy in as the time for the tournament grew near to get more people involved/get more profit. Now the people who came in after the price drop still have the same chance of winning whatever the prize is, but they have decidedly less risk involved because they only had to pay half the entrance fee the people who got in earlier paid.

I can also agree on the actual prize being a deciding factor on level of annoyance. Videos or Skype, yeah, not a huge deal. Winning a physical object filled with all of a model's content, a trip/date type thing, etc.? Much bigger deal in terms of annoyance factor if one bought tickets early before the sale.

Then again, I hardly ever enter raffles, and only buy 1 ticket if I do. Much the same with the lottery... I only play occasionally and only buy 1 ticket.

Models aren't running official lotteries and most rules are highly bendable. If it's something you really want from a model, don't be silly and try to win it from a raffle. Negotiate with her and get it with some other means. If you can't get it, you probably lack imagination or the means. Then I guess you'll be disappointed in other areas of life because winners can always get what they want. I know I'm being very vague here but perhaps some models and members know what I'm talking about. ;)

Or perhaps not. :) If by "official" you mean it's not state-run, yeah, it's not official. But models go to a lot of work, thought, and expense to run raffles. I wouldn't trivialize their efforts. I don't think any members, well, maybe the OP, are desperate about winning raffle prizes, but nevertheless don't want them trivialized either. Why would you say rules are bendable? If they're bendable, they're not rules...they are nonsense.

The only thing I want from the raffle is to win the raffle. How do you negotiate that? When you buy all content the day it is released you run out of stuff to get.
