The word family doesn't fit in my definition of vacation. Maybe sometime I will get a real vacation.
I remember some of the "family vacations" from when I was a kid... family tends ruins that happy, chill, I'm-on-vacation-dammit feeling. :-(

Whenever my family did family vacations, we'd just go and see our family in Maryland or PA. It would have been much nicer in the past, except for the big age difference between my cousins and myself: On my dad's side of the family I have 6 cousins. Including my brother, sister, and I, there are 9 of us. I'm 18. My brother is 26, one cousin is 27, my sister is 28, another cousin is 29, one turns 30 in November (She's getting married in a couple of hours, so we're all in town), another is turning 32 in November, one is 34 or 35, and the last turns 38 in October (This oldest cousin is also my godfather).
Now that I'm older and being with them is nicer, I don't get to see them often enough.
