My CB username is mantharay. My account was banned almost a month ago on 12/31/24.

I was having a normal conversation with a model about music. We both like rock and I was talking about how Motley Crue and Ozzy Osbourne's posters freaked me out as a child. I assume the word child was flagged by an A.I. or chat bot. 30 seconds later, Account Banned popped up. There was nothing sexual, no roleplay, just a conversation one would have with anyone, anywhere.

I have e-mailed support probably 3 times, e-mailed the parent company, Multimedia,LLC, and called (and spoke with) the billing department to try and appeal this decision and have an actual human look at the chat log of when this happened. Billing has nothing to do with these matters so they couldn't help. But crickets from everyone else. Got an automated response from my first e-mail to support but never received a ticket number.

I was always a supporter, and usually a dark purple user. Spent a lot of money on the site and I am pissed this happened. No warning, no explanation, and no response as to why. And the fact that a supposedly billion dollar company doesn't have live chat support or a phone number for customer service issues is unacceptable!

Anyway, posting here because this seems like the only place model and customer complaints might be heard. Any help would be appreciated.

Interesting.

I do not get the pop-up window, I remember seeing it somewhere at some point.
I visit 3 rooms and I saved their addresses in my bookmarks, anytime I select one and login there is no popup.
Just tried again with 3 random rooms.
Could that depend on the browser I have ???

Could a pop-up blocker prevent me seeing it ?
(dont even know if I have one of those...)

Lesson learned. Support finally responded and the ban was lifted. Never even crossed my mind that talking about myself in a non sexual way when I was a kid with another human would trigger a ban hammer. From now on, when on any adult platform I never had a childhood. Came out of the womb at 18. Won't make that mistake twice.

Update: Access restored. Logged in. Never spoke to a single model or typed a word. Left tab open, did some things. Came back. Page wouldn't refresh. Refreshed it. Banned again. Violated T.O.S. ! For fucks sake!!
They really don't know what they are doing at CB support. Or should I call it Skynet.

As for the morality police, I have read the T.O.S. And the log-in warning box. It states no exploitative depictions of minors, incest or roleplay involving minors. I did none of these things.
Speaking of your past or telling a story from when you were a kid isn't exploitative. Nor is it roleplay. It's called conversation. Me talking to a model rather than just treating her as a piece of meat.

With words context matters. And A.I. or bots don't do context well. I.E. the word, "Daddy"? Isn't that technically against the T.O.S.? Doesn't that word imply incest? Every model would be banned if Skynet put the ban hammer down for Daddy.

I always have models ask me my age, marital status, if I have children. And tell me they have children. Oh fuck, she said children! Should she be banned by Grok? Asking those questions doesn't violate the CB T.O.S. in any way. It's just normal human interaction.

Also the most creepy explanation which i heard about it. You dont need roleplay, if u talk that u were 14 and this is written on chat, if some silent pedophils are in room, u can make them fantasy about u were 14 ....... Creepy shit but makes sense with fighting with pedos

It is futile to be indignant about this.

I'm not sure if you are aware of all of the ways various states and the Federal government are trying to hamstring porn sites and sex workers, but this is one of the ways.

But I also feel like you don't understand the gravity of talking about your childhood. Models are not therapists.

Those kinds of conversations and trauma dumps are pair-bonding conversations, ones to be had with an actual lover or potential partner in meatspace.

Models want to move goals and get sexy. Talking about a scared teenager is not sexy and kind of gross on an adult site.

The next time you feel you want to share something, just say the story without giving a context of time.

"Yeah I saw them live." Or, "I saw that in the theater." Or, "yeah one of my favorite memories was heading to the ballpark for night games." Keep it generic. There is no reason to get into that level of detail.

What I find to be fascinating is how many people want to fight us about it, when we are the least interested in your age out of all of the people you will ever interact with online. But it's always the viewer who mentions age first, whether the model doesn't look her age or guys walk in with, "do you like older/younger guys?"

Do you tip? Are you allowed to be here? Those are the only things that matter to us. If you feel like you need to "know" who you are giving your tokens to, that's fine, but don't get so intimate with those lines of conversation. It really puts us all in a bad spot.

Right? I've never had a model ask my age. Viewers tho? Like you said, it's so often the first chat comment they come in with.

I just ban them immediately now. Not worth my headache and not worth trying to explain it in real time.

Had a guy talk about his cat the other day and about three lines down in chat dropped a single line, "yeah she's 16."

I went nuclear. Then he got all butthurt and didn't understand how he was putting my income in jeopardy.

Is it fair? Depends on who you ask. Is it necessary to take action? Yes.

There is no "morality police" here. Just a bunch of experienced models telling you exactly how these bans happen. Corporations (especially American ones), have a legal liability to keep their asses covered. With the sheer number of viewers and users, banning either is no big deal to them if it comes down to "better safe than sorry"

I don't argue on the internet.

I am in my 40's and I have been on sites like CB since the '90's. And have never been banned from any. So getting banned for what I considered a very normal, mundane conversation was surprising. As I said above, going forward there will be no discussions about my past lived experiences if they happened before the age of 18. Or the age of a pet. As customers we are just having a conversation. We often don't take into account the effect of what we say in chat can have on a model's livelihood. I get it.

Those kinds of conversations and trauma dumps are pair-bonding conversations, ones to be had with an actual lover or potential partner in meatspace.
So one should only talk about going to a concert with a potential lover, partner or therapist? And only in the meatspace? I disagree. Music is playing, you saw the band in person, my first reaction is hey, I saw them live! Won't ever say how old I was when I attended the event on CB again.

To my main point, the system of banning and customer service could be handled better. I understand the need to root out and prevent bad actors, and the role computers must play to do this.
But if a program flags something, it can warn or suspend the account then send it to actual human eyes in a timely manner to gauge the offense, or if there was one. This might also reduce the customer service back log and response time. If the computer is laying down the ban hammer on everyone in chat saying how old their pet is I would imagine the que is quite long!

Also have live chat support and a customer service phone # to call for performers and users. They can afford it. Users of CB should not have to go on 3rd party sites to be heard/ get issues resolved.

Which is what I said, more than once. You've said it more than once. I think we've established this is the case.

I don't think you understand how rapidly this has all come down with compliance being demanded immediately while the software was infantile and incapable of handling a site as large as CB. It's band-aided together at this point, until either the laws are struck down or porn is banned completely.

When models post in these threads, we're not just talking to you. We're talking to everyone who is reading them. Now and in the future. If you skim this forum you will see dozens of threads from people who did the exact same thing you did. What we, as models, cannot wrap our brains around is WHY. Why is it so difficult for people to just say "yeah I saw them live, it was great!"

Again, almost always, it is the viewer who brings a specific age into the story. It's just not necessary. If you were standing with a coworker and idle chatting about a band would you say, "yeah I saw them when I was 16." Or would you just say, "yeah I saw that show, it was great."

Lol I don't understand why so many grown adults need to be told not to talk about children, or show pictures of kids on Porn sites. Why would anyone need their hand held, just to figure this out? This is obvious, and, yes, common sense. You're not at church chatting with your buddies, you're not at the bar, you're not at a dating site. You're at an over 18 porn site. FFS, how do y'all miss that?? 😆

When you walk into the grocery store, do you need your own personal assistant to remind you you're not at the hairdresser?
Is that what you feel entitled to, as a grown-ass adult?
When you wake up in the morning do you need someone to remind you to breathe, and that you're in your house 😆??
C'mon now, give us a break.

This will be my last post on this subject.

I would like a spiral perm with frosted tips, please. Business in the front, party in the back. Oh wait, this isn't the hairdresser?!

Ok, just breathe. Don't forget....breathe.

Assistant! Assistant! Where the fuck am I??
