A Request to German Viewers

I'm not sure if what I'm about to ask is ok with amber but I hope she and everyone else understands.

As some of you may be aware, I'm in a very delicate situation in India with my parents. My plan is to return to Germany asap and apply for a residence permit as a Freelancer. Now, I've been working exceptionally hard on my business plan and financial documents but there is one area in which I have limited control.

And that is "Letters of Intent." These are letters written by Germans / German residents who "intend" to purchase services. In my case it would say something like contribute to live performances/purchase content AFTER I receive my permit. So it's just an intent - not binding. You can find several articles on the internet about "letters of intent for freelance permit germany" Its a letter to show the bureaucrats that there is "economic interest" for me in Germany aka German clients.

You may be wondering why I'm asking German viewers on this forum site instead of friends. The answer is, I'm doing both. I have already asked friends and now I'm appealing to the Germans here who have watched me during my live shows.

I cannot begin to describe how important it is to get my residency in Germany. I just want to make absolutely certain that I don't have to return to the hell I'm in at the moment. So if any of you German viewers would like to help with this the please reach out to me in a DM.

I know! I was thinking about this while writing this post. I hope that I'll be able to suss out the genuine volunteers.

I do. I’ve asked them too. I just- want this to be foolproof you know? My application (non camming one) wasn’t approved last year because they said i didn’t have relevant qualifications. so this time i want everything to be airtight.
I’m also looking to relocating to France which would also be easy. I thought about America but i couldn’t find any visa categories for freelancers

America won't let you in. If you're a sex worker they likely will assume you're coming to escort and simply deny it...

I can imagine the desperation you're feeling to get back to Germany. And I'm glad you're being thorough. But when we get desperate we make an easy target.. don't put yourself at risk for this. Be very very careful

Is this something you could ask the sites you work on for? A letter stating that you are a contract worker with them? I've gotten letters like that from most when I've been getting a new lease etc, maybe that could apply here.

Is it possible for you to apply for a vanilla job in Germany, and then come back to camming later on?
If you were considering America, what about Canada? I'm guessing you may have personal ties in those other countries, though.

Unfortunately not. Unless Chaturbate has a German subsidiary, which I don't think it does. It has to be from German individuals/organisations. Otherwise the govt will say "you don't need to be in germany"

I think you're both right. I've just been obsessing over this these past few days. Not a good sign, I know.

I dont think it works. Probably German authorities will say "You can broadcast from India for this service, you dont need to live in Germany."
How about to move to another place from you family?

I'm also looking into relocating to France as a backup plan. They have a "liberal professional" visa for "performing artists" and its equally easy - and they don't require these letters.
For germany though, besides these letters Ive made a good case for wanting to live there in my business plan so hopefully it all comes together

i dont know much information about this, and its just a suggestion. you might be able to apply for asylum on the grounds of domestic violence.

oh, yes. It's named (shortly^^) "carte de séjour pluriannuelle passeport talent" - and renewable up to 4 years
You can freely work in France during 3 months, entering with a tourist visa (it's very legal), the time to obtain this card or your visa to Germany.

It's maybe better to proceed like that (start with a tourist visa, and request for the card) as I'm certain that you'll need a proof of address.
You'll need a proof of address at least : a rent receipt or an hotel receipt or a simple attestation from a french resident.

Ha. No no no. No. This is hard enough. I know from my attorney how much harder it would be to file for something like this

Yes. I'm surprisingly highly qualified in a specialised area with three degrees. But despite this dazzling background I couldn't find a job in 2 years. Hence I found my way too camming. I don't have much faith in finding a conventional job after 2 years of endless rejections tbh

I think visas are tough with Covid going on but when it does calm down maybe you can use your qualifications to seek employment in your country of choice and they will advocate for your visa?

Contrary to popular believe Canada is harder to get into than the US. In fact if you have a recent DUI you cannot travel from the US to Canada by car at least.

Yes but for 6 months only. Beyond that I need a contract from a company in order to stay.
