The first one is we are thinking about doing a skype-type set up. How well does this work? Do you use paypal? How much should we charge per session/minute/etc?

Also...I sell sex toys, lingerie, lubes, and such. I was thinking about trying to sell some at a large discount to other web models- hey we are all in it together right? Where should I put up a link for girls to use the discount, and where should I let girls' know about it. Is there a site for that or a private message type deal I can use?

No PayPal. It's not adult transaction friendly and they have been known to freeze funds for long periods of time.

Hmm, probably not, as Skype shows and lingerie sales don't necessarily qualify a person as a cam girl. At least here 'round these parts. A model membership on an actual camsite is required for verified model status here.

A couple things to OP:

I'm not really sure offering discounts to models here will work, as we don't know you at all, and purchasing things from you will give you access to our personal information (something we keep very private.)

I know there are some adult-friendly alternatives to PayPal, but other girls would know more about that than I would, so hopefully they'll post if they come across this thread.

Yea I am not saying that Skype qualifies me. I am on a regular site right now. I have been asked a lot ot skype, and have been considering it. I just want to do some research before I up and do it. I don't want my personal information to leak all over the web, or be jipped for the money we earn!

I would love any other forms than pay pal...the more I hear the more nervous I get about it.

As far as the products, I can completely respect the privacy of everyone here as well as everyone I sell products to as well. I have a (legit) site as well.

Payoneer and Amazon are excellent ways to get paid rather than via whatever camsite you're on.

As far as toys, lingerie and other products go, a lot of us are members of edenfantasys and get our toys for free/nearly free already and most of us that are members are also affiliates.

If you're on a camsite already, I'd suggest following the steps listed in the link above and getting verified.

If you are on a site, first things first.

Get verified. It will help people take you seriously, as well as let us get to know you a bit.

Introduce yourself in the introducing threads

Provide some links to your sites, perhaps a social network site as well.

Not saying you are some creepy guy trying to get our info, but I could TOTALLY see someone doing this! Actually, it'd be a bit of a step up on the sneakiness... I don't like it... God they do come up with some crafty ways to get info/free shows though!

Watch out for that! Only member I ever did paypal with 8 months later came back to my room and used my name to threaten me with. In fact only 2 members have ever come across any real info of me, and both have used it to threaten me with. Both seemed pretty nice/normal. Neither of them gave out my details, fortunately they weren't complete planks. Thing is, although many members won't actually give out your details, unfortunately a lot of them will use the details against you/try to threaten you if you ever choose to ban them/they cause you trouble in the future. Desperate, angry people do some weird things.

Get yourself verified on here. Unfortunately there are a lot of weirdos who pretend to be models/women to get attention or to scam us, plus there's loads of info on exactly this in the models only section!
