The amount of times we do that is funny. We really like a lot of the same music.I meant to listen to the Robin Shulz remix last night, but just getting to it now
It's funny a lot of this stuff (especially dance and techno), I'll be like; "wow, this is the best ever". Then I hear it again through my phone or laptop, and realize; "No some of the headphones I use take sounds to almost an orgasmic level". Seriously, my best friend has a pair he paid several hundred for, and they'll make a whole new world up. It's awesome.Do you have any you (or anyone else here reading this) like or recommend? I think I'm gonna get a nicer pair too.
I'll ask what his are, and post too, if anyone is interested.

This is another coincidenceI I actually only have a really old pair of wired apple earbud things, not sure what the exact name is but the ones you get with an iPhone.
Been wanting to upgrade for ages and treat myself to something much nicer but I do enjoy the sound quality of these, it's just that the wires frustrate me. But equally I get put off by the (relatively) short battery life of wireless headphones/earpods, and can kind of get overwhelmed by the options available. I like to research as thoroughly as I can before buying but just get derailed and run out of time.
So if you find out what your friend has, I'm very interested to know!

IMHO an incredibly under-rated band, but one that just hits the mark over and over again.

I saw FOALS in a tiny club in Liverpool in about 2009. They were IMMENSE.
I noticed a colleague from work at the gig jumping up and down on an amp
Such an underrated band, for sure…
Sometimes I really enjoy the image of bands arguing with their management and record company about the marketing strategy, that they refuse to back down and remain doing what they do for the right reasons and not just aiming for commercial popularity and success.
Not saying that's the case here, but I always get the feeling that they love where they're at musically and that's all the reward they seek.......
