Such a coincidence, I was just considering which of 2 Offspring tracks I was going to add here!
So that's made the decision easy - here's Self Esteem:
That's a great compliment, I think there's a lot of shared musical taste - and I just f'n LOVE two feet, what a great addition you madeRod you have wonderful taste! The amount of times we do that is funny. We really like a lot of the same music.
This is another coincidenceI I actually only have a really old pair of wired apple earbud things, not sure what the exact name is but the ones you get with an iPhone.Do you have any you (or anyone else here reading this) like or recommend? I think I'm gonna get a nicer pair too.
I'll ask what his are, and post too, if anyone is interested.
"Radio"
It's late at night
And I'm feeling down
There're couples standing on the street
Sharing summer kisses and silly sounds
So I step inside
Pour a glass of wine
With a full glass and an empty heart
I search for something to occupy my mind
But you are in my head
Swimming forever in my head
Tangled in my dreams
Swimming forever
So listen to the radio (listen to the radio)
And all the songs we used to know, oh, oh
So listen to the radio (listen to the radio)
Remember where we used to go...
Now it's morning light
And it's cold outside
Caught up in a distant dream
I turn and think that you are by my side
So I leave my bed
And I try to dress
Wandering why my mind plays tricks
And fools me into thinking you are there
But you're just in my head
Swimming forever in my head
Not lying in my bed
Just swimming forever
So listen to the radio (listen to the radio)
And all the songs we used to know, oh, oh
So listen to the radio (listen to the radio)
Remember where we used to go...
I listen to the radio (listen to the radio)
And all the songs we used to know, oh, oh
I listen to the radio (listen to the radio)
Remember where we used to go...
You are in my head
Swimming forever in my head
Tangled in my dreams
Swimming forever
(Swimming forever)
Swimming forever
So listen to the radio (listen to the radio)
And all the songs we used to know, oh, oh
So listen to the radio (listen to the radio)
Remember where we used to go...
I listen to the radio (listen to the radio)
And all the songs we used to know, oh, oh
I listen to the radio (listen to the radio)
Hot Bodies In Motion - Gout:
So good
yep me too When i hear the first notes of Tubular Bells i see demons....I can’t listen to Mike Oldfield without thinking of Tubular Bells and The Exorcist…
He was only 19 when he wrote and recorded it![]()
IMHO an incredibly under-rated band, but one that just hits the mark over and over again.
Here's one of my faves
Mountain At My Gates - FOALS:
Sometimes I really enjoy the image of bands arguing with their management and record company about the marketing strategy, that they refuse to back down and remain doing what they do for the right reasons and not just aiming for commercial popularity and success.Such an underrated band, for sure…

Not saying that's the case here, but I always get the feeling that they love where they're at musically and that's all the reward they seek.......

Seen the trailer?I’m a little too young to have seen The Exorcist in the cinema but my dad went and he told me “I didn’t see what all the fuss was about?”
Fair enough!![]()
