Just got scammed by broadcaster - please help

I need to report a broadcaster scamming users.

I started and private show with broadcaster alimaheart_ at around 9:52am, PST.

The private session began, then, after 1 minute of nothing happening, the broadcaster turned off the cam and microphone, claiming that it didn't work. Said then said she didn't know what was going on and couldn't click any buttons or restart it.
I asked her to stop the private show, and she claimed that the button would not work and couldn't click to stop it.
I asked her to stop her internet ... since that would end her online session and stop the private (I think) ... she said it wasn't working.

I told her I would report her if she didn't turn the cam on or end the private, and she said and did nothing.
The entire interaction, I was polite, didn't swear, cuss or be rude ... just said "thanks for scamming me ... I'll report you now."

Immediately upon the private show ending, her cam magically restarted, right away.
She then banned me from the room.

The private show was recorded - so there's visual proof that all but 9 minutes of the show was nothing but a dead cam background image.

Lost 180 tokens to this scammer.

Not awesome. Not thrilled.

You could have simply emailed support to ask for a refund for your $9.

There is a section in TOS about it. It basically says tip at your own risk. You'll get a response vaguely worded the same way and a courtesy refund for the show.

I'm not near a desktop or laptop at the moment otherwise I would provide a screenshot.

Presumably they wanted the model to end the show so the minimum duration didn't apply.......

180 tokens isn't even ten bucks. I seriously doubt she was intentionally scamming you for pocket change.

More than likely, the site actually did glitch. That isn't uncommon. It has happened to me several times. Just email CB support and they will give your money back.

What is the cutoff for asking for a refund? Because $20 is above my cutoff limit, be it cam models, restaurant orders, or store purchases. If I buy a $20 clock and it doesn't work I'm taking it back and asking for a refund. If I buy a $20 burger and it is under cooked I am sending it back. Why does Chaturbate get a pass?

I think everyone is more het up about a model being reported for this instead of a user simply asking for a refund. One is assuming malice and the other would assume a technical issue.
