Uttered by Elaine Bouschard of Los Banos, California, the quote aptly sums up a Mother’s Day canine miracle, reports KSEE 24 News.
On Sunday, Bouschard and her grandson Taylor were enjoying Mother’s Day when the boy saw something fall from the sky into the backyard. Turns out, it was a puppy.
When they ran out to inspect the little fella, they saw a hawk circling overhead.
Because he was covered in grease, Bouschard thinks the hawk may have grabbed the dog from a local junkyard.
Other than three claw marks on his side, the adorable canine, since renamed “TJ Heavenly,” is doing fine, said Bouschard.
She told KCEE 24 Nes that she will adopt the the miracle puppy and welcome him into her “mix of cats, dogs, horses and yes, she even owns a couple of hawks.”
