My theory as with the end of season five, is that this is all to get buzz on twitter the net etc, to get another X-Files movie in the works. I mean only six episodes and a sloppy cliff hanger, gotta be something like that. They make the big bucks off the movies, I cannot see them wasting time doing more episodes, if anything with all the unanswered questions and slop of it all people are going to want a movie (or two if Chris Carter has his way about it.) to tie it all up, find out what happens etc, I will not give away any spoilers in this thread, but for those of you that have caught up on your tivo's you know what I am getting at.
