Shandy82, I wonder if posting an MFC news feed with a token offer would help you get more of a response? And posting something about it on your MFC profile and on Twitter. If you're serious about this, it wouldn't hurt to put it out there for more people to see.
I think models would probably take you more seriously if you posted the amount you had in mind. You probably already have SOME idea of what you're willing to spend, right? And the token amount could be negotiable. Any models interested can message you.

But after you click on News Feed, you should be able to type your message into a box, and beside the box is a 'Submit' button or something like that. After you submit your message, it's available for several people to read it.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how best to conduct a deal once it is agreed? The reason I ask is because I agreed an amount of tokens with a model to shave her head on cam. I said to her that I would send her half of the tokens before shaving and half on completion (which I think is fair!) but she understandable was dubious and thought I would only pay the first half, she would shave her head and I wouldn't send the other half of the tokens....which to be honest I completely understand as I am a complete stranger, why would she trust me?! But on the other hand, if I pay all the tokens up front she has no reason to shave it at all, she has her tokens/money and still has her hair!.....As you can probably guess from the fact that I'm posting this....this is exactly what happened to me! I finally caved and paid all the tokens up front and surprise, surprise, she had a change of heart and I haven't heard from her since!....I'm well aware that I was duped and probably a bit naive and stupid, but hey, live and learn right?
So what do you reckon girls, what would be the most fair, agreeable way to conduct a deal of this kind?

To me, I would also make sure everything was written in tip notes and also mfc mails for some form of documentation. It's not likely you'll get any resolve, but that way should you decide to gripe at MFC for her scamming you, its all there for them to see what was agreed on.
Yes ladies, no need to quote the "tips are non refundable" mantra BC we all know it. I have known tho of several instances where payments made in tokens for various other things, not delivered, were indeed refunded.
in this case, perhaps a 'pay by stroke' would appease both parties. You would also have your token balance visible to her so shes able to see you aren't blowing smoke. :dontknow:

Perhaps you could consider organizing the shave through True Private. If the price is agreed upon, you can go to True Private (where MFC is more likely to take action if you're scammed) and have the show happen. When I shaved my head it took only about 20 minutes, and after she's done you can let the Private continue until she gets all the tokens promised (without her being obligated to otherwise perform, as that isn't part of the agreement) or exit out and tip her the rest.Shandy82 said:AirenStar said:

Damn, I didn't even think of this...I JUST shaved my head today just for shits and giggles. It didn't even occur to me that I could've done it for money....lame.
When it grows back a bit I'd do it for around 1000 tokens or so...maybe even do a countdown?

Although this thing was written a while back. Personally I would not ever do a request for half the tokens then, half later. Yes members do get scammed, but it is minuscule compared to how often models get scammed. To be honest I wouldn't even be that happy doing that for a regular. Also, if a member scams a model what can she do? ban him? He doesn't care, he's got what he wants. Mfc doesn't care either. If a model scams a member, bad reputation, he can create new accounts and troll her/give her a bad name, he can contact mfc and possibly get her banned/fined etc. Basically, if a member scams a model they have plenty to gain and f all to lose, if a model scams a member she has some to gain, but a LOT to lose.

On a serious note. No I would not shave my head. Not for any amount of tokens. I used to however sell locks of my hair. I have in the past done it for 1500tokens. But, after realizing it would be more popular then I thought and watching my hair slowly disappear. I stopped.

If you aren't satisfied, you can dispute the escrow, and if she does it and you don't accept the escrow, she can dispute it. I would recommend ExtraLunchMoney especially because they have a request section that you could ask in.
Personally, I would do an undercut for 20,000 tkns, or my whole head for 200,000 tkns. I'd need to buy a lot of wigs with that money!
