Wishlist website alternatives

Okay so I'm new to MFC. I have searched through the topics on here and I have found some options that could make my city/state private on Amazon, such as getting a P.O. Box. However, this is not an option for me. I fully understand that there is absolutely no option to make my city and state private on a public wishlist. But is there any advice you all have to give as to what I could do to make myself feel maybe a little bit more comfortable? I mean as of right now it shows my first and last name, the city and state that I live in...yikes. Are there any other websites I could make my wishlists on? I've looked at a couple...but they all just...literally list the items. They link to Amazon and then the buyer would actually have to put my address in. I feel like I'm at a loss! XD So basically- I don't want my city and state on my wishlist (I GUESS I could live with it if I had to...), but I DEFINITELY don't want my first and last name on that shit!

i thought you could make the address info private.. and you make your name your model name or similar.

The name you can just use a pseudonym for the name. As for the location is says this right on the settings page for wishlists:
Ship-to Address
Items purchased directly from this Wish List by friends and family can be shipped to the address you indicate below.
This address is confidential and will not be seen by anyone purchasing a gift for you.

I hear a lot of people concerned about amazon wishlists. It does include your city and state. A little too close for some. Something I have been considering is just getting e-giftcards for the ones I want to get something for. All I do is pay for the e-giftcard and send it to their email, then they can redeem themselves. I never know their address..... they just need an email address I can send it to. Gmail seems to work well for that. Hope this makes sense.

They are awesome. Sure, it'll list your state, but they'll never know anything else. They can get you toys on your list, or toys off your list. Sure you can't add things like video games - but it's great for sex toys!

Also something to keep in mind: Quite often the shipper receives the city name and zip code that the package arrived in on the shipping confirmation. (On Amazon wishlist items, I mean.)

Yup all the purchaser will see is the name on the wishlist (ie on Alex's it says AlexLady) and state.

Oh and also- thank you to the rest of ya for your replies I was on my phone when I posted that previous reply of mine so it was a little difficult to type. I would totally make a wishlist on that site Alex, but I know and am great friends with a few managers at my local sex shop and they can get me great deals on stuff in person. Up to half off of almost everything! How lucky am I . But yeah, I'd hate for someone to buy me something and pay for shipping when I could just go up in person and buy it right then and there for a wayyyy lower price. Is this odd for a model to do? Opt out of giving members the choice of purchasing sex related items?

At the top click "Wishlist" and "Manage List." That's where you add stars and comments.

Something I have been considering is just getting e-giftcards for the ones I want to get something for. All I do is pay for the e-giftcard and send it to their email, then they can redeem themselves.

Yes, I've gone the e-gift card route (mentioned it on my profile and my room topic) right around Christmastime, and it worked out well. I was trying to get this pink Your Zone mini futon lounger from Walmart.com, because I'm a pink fanatic and thought it looked adorable. I just got the futon yesterday and am sitting on it right now. :-D

The only thing is that I was promising to do Skype chat (and to email the guys pics of me on the futon once I got it), in exchange for guys buying me an e-gift card. Next time I won't even include a Skype show...it's not necessary. I'll just thank them and e-mail them pics of me holding the gifts, and maybe add a photo caption to the pic that includes their screen name.

I wish that there was a way to keep addresses hidden on amazon. Maybe if we all email them they could add an option to have the receivers address hidden in the email confirmation...i dunno.

What i do is just have my gifts sent to a friend of mine in the next town over and she gives them to me when she goes to work because we work close to each other.

Just make sure the guys think that it's a STRONG STRAIGHT MAN (yes, some of MFC's members are bi men, and many are bi women...) who gets the packages. Or that they think your friend lives with her really fucking strong boyfriend or something.

why not get a p.o box in the next city/town over? That's what I do, my mailbox is listed all over the internet, and amazon..

an alternative to it though is amazon gift cards can be sent to your email address.. there's a few other sites that do that too, you just have to look in their giftcard section
