Wishlist for european models?

first off, sorry I don't mean to spam. just happen to have two burning questions

I thought I made a wise choice by getting an amazon wishlist instead of one of those third-party-seller lists (from wishlist.com) but now I received a present, and noticed on the invoice the buyer spent over 20(!) dollars on shipping. and that is just insane, I don't like my visitors spending more on shipping than on the actual gift.

So I've been googling my ass off, but I can't seem to find an european alternative to lower those shipping costs. I would love if asos.co.uk or play.com would offer wishlists like that, but they unfortunately do not :/ (both offer free worldwide shipping)
I saw you can register at Etsy (for wedding stuff) and then I guess you'll have to filter the items yourself for shipping costs.

Anyone with a good idea? maybe international sites with free shipping? or european equivalent of amazon with doable shipping costs?

I'm from the Netherlands, not UK btw.

I use amazon.co.uk for this, shipping isn't so expensive there (I'm from Latvia) I think you can try amazon.de too, they have wishlists. And asos.co.uk has giftcards.

im from Romania and i had an amazon.com.uk wishlist some time ago ,, someone bought something from there but never arrived so i took it off this really sucks.. i wish my fans could buy me gifts .. and they too , always ask me if i have one.. sucks big time nothing works for Romania ((((

I buy from amazon.co.uk quite a bit for Romania delivery (bucharest specifically)
While I make jokes about the package being left in a field outside the city, I haven't really had much in the way of problems. Originally I was worried that theft would be a problem. It hasn't happened to me. (hope I didn't just jinx myself, I have a birthday gift currently being shipped)

The main issue is when ordering is I dont find out that a particular amazon seller wont deliver to romania until the item is in the cart. Then I have to delete that and see if there are alternate sellers for the same item. And often none of the venders will ship there.

A lot of things are shipped through the regular mail, and it doesn't have any tracking info. That sucks. I have had things shipped UPS and been able to watch the tracking and even see who signed for it.

Sorry you had trouble with your order. I dont know what city you're in, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear of a lot more trouble in the smaller cities.

Thanks all for the info! I've settled on a amazon.co.uk, since it's the cheapest option so far, ± 4 pound shipping is doable I think. Thanks again!
