My new favorite red table wine is also from Trader Joes. It's an organic one called "Green Fin" and it's only $3.99/bottle. It's just sweet enough that I think those of you who have trouble drinking reds because they're too dry/tannin'y would still like it.
Manage a Trois and Primal Roots are both awesome and less than $7/bottle as well.
I've come to find that drinking a generic red wine as opposed to a straight up Pinot or Shiraz is easier when not directly with a meal. The dry and less sweet wines I can only have during a meal or with a cheese/crackers plate to really enjoy.
Edited to add: It's hard for me to consider White Zin a 'real' wine. I call it pink wine since it just tastes like alcoholic juice to me, and has so much sugar. But yes, Berringer is my fave and I have 2 bottles in the fridge right now.
