Same why you can rent a movie from Microsoft without downloading it.How exactly would one rent a digital file?

Also, I've seen members complaining about how absolutely shit the streaming option is due to the lag. It pausing every 5 seconds or so despite them having great internet, etc.So, streaming-only? We have an option to set our videos to streaming-only on MV during the upload process. I don't use it, because most people want to download and keep their porn.

I do that with iTunes.I rent movies from Google Play now and then, and it's a file that's easy to watch for 48 hours. Maybe that's because they're proper movies hosted by Google, I dunno, but it's something I do...
When I buy digital comics, I have to check a box saying I know they’re digital and not physical copies. Not that unreasonable tbh.I’m confused by this complaint because there’s also a giant button that says Stream Full Video rather than Buy Full Vid. Don’t they have to click on that to be charged for it? I mean I know a lotta men don’t read when they have boners, but that’s kinda NOT MV’s fault. What does he want? A pop-up notification??
That's a good catch (that was my tweet). When you have have not yet purchased the video, the button says, "Add to Cart", which is the same thing it says when it is downloadable. It is only after you buy it that the button says "Stream Full Vid".I’m confused by this complaint because there’s also a giant button that says Stream Full Video rather than Buy Full Vid. Being able to rent videos for a lower price will result in a lot more of them being recorded and posted to tube sites. Heck, people were/are already doing it with memberships on Manyvids.Initially, I did have a downright "wat" reaction to the thread title. Yet, the more I think about it, the more I'm liking the idea of a renting option.
I actually rent films myself via amazon and never once thought of it being applied to the modern day adult industry.
I think it'd encourage more people to pay as it would be a cheaper option for a limited-time watch for something they might not be sure they want to buy in the first place, and to me, that would be a great middle finger in the face of our biggest competitor yet: stolen porn.
That is the risk you are going to have to be willing to take.Being able to rent videos for a lower price will result in a lot more of them being recorded and posted to tube sites. Heck, people were/are already doing it with memberships on Manyvids.
